Ok, there's so much information on this sub-forum, I'm kinda confused now. I'm having a minor problem with the mod:

I cannot scroll in the leader select screen when setting up a game, i.e. there's no scroll bar and the mouse wheel doesn't work either. (The advanced setup works, but it's inconvenient, because it doesn't show the Unique Abilities.)

Is this a known issue? Or am I simply doing something wrong?

I'm using CP and CBP as well as JFD's Exploration mod and almost all of his civs. No other mods used.

That's a lua issue. Did you install everything according to instructions?

If so, do you have logging enabled? If so, post your lua.log. If not, enable logging, start up the game and try to use the leader menu, exit then post your lua log.

Ok, thanks, I'll post it on his thread! :)

I've also encountered a bug where the Might social policy that is supposed to give you a ranged unit gave me a warrior instead. I don't know if this is a CBP bug or a bug related to the civ I was playing (Francia). I've posted about that in JFD's thread, too, just in case.
 
Had you researched trapping yet? I had that happen to me once, but I hadn't researched trapping yet, so there were no ranged units I had the tech to build. Make sense that it would work that way.
 
I'm running in to a bug where Sacred Path doesn't give the appropriate yields, although it is giving some sort of bugged faith bonus.

Had you researched trapping yet? I had that happen to me once, but I hadn't researched trapping yet, so there were no ranged units I had the tech to build. Make sense that it would work that way.
That might be it. I didnt have Trapping yet. I wonder if that's a bug or a feature? :)
 
Ok, so I came back to CIV V after a really long time, and wanted to try out some new mods, and this one really caught my eye. After firing it up, my social policy screen (tradition) was a little broken. After a little investigation I realized my game was in v1.0.3.144, and the tradition tree was nerfed afterwards. So I edited the CBP/Balance Changes/Policies/Liberty/Liberty.sql and added a few lines to re-arrange them. Paste these lines of code before the "Opener" policies, if anyone is still playing the old version.

In my current game (which saves and loads fine - one of the differences is a standard map in stead of large), Rome managed to wipe Ramesses of the earth, but still failed to improve his luxuries and strategics. He went liberty and patronage.

Sorry, but this is not a good idea. You will probably get a crash sooner or later. I am surprised you managed to start the game. You should update the game to the newest version. I think it is 1.0.3.279. The game should be updated automatically by the way, unless your copy it's corrupted or pirated.

Usually run steam in offline mode, because of internet troubles, and yes I updated my game later.

I have an annoying and somewhat gamebreaking bug.
Normally when the AI has 1 piece if a luxury, it is considered much more valuable. But in my games they trade them away as if they had multiple left.
Another thing is that i cannot trade cities to the AI, they seem to never want it, not even for 1 gold in exchange.

The latter is to avoid an exploit. Players trade cities to the AI to punish them, which is bad form.

Wait, are you saying the AI will just auto-reject a deal involving a city? Why is the option even there then? Sure, some players might exploit it by intentionally giving thing poorly located cities or something, but it still has valid uses I'm sure.

The ai rejects the deal if it is a city for nothing. A gift city, if you will.

I just downloaded everything and followed the setup correctly (I think) however I cannot move onto jungle tiles right away. Is this intentional or is this a bug?

Edit:
When I hover on the resources on the monopoly screen, it doesnt pop anything, usually I remember it gives you the % of that resource you have.

Sounds like you didn't install it correctly. Also make sure you deleted the correct lua folders.

On some AI trade requests (tech, world map and one complete blank screen) the tech and the map request isn't showing in the trade column. (see attach.)

Also I had a game where the gold totals or gpt were all messed up. If the totals were right (which I suppose) then the gpt were showing negative when they should have been positive.

By the way this is the best mod out there by far. Your work and the work of others that you have incorporated is really fantastic. :)
