Pioneers and Colonists still don't add additional buildings as described.
If it means anything, in every game where I built Pioneers, I unlocked Liberty and the policy which adds +1 population to new cities.

Using any of Whoward's add-on mods, perchance? The Pioneers/Colonists work fine on my end.

Don't know if it was (or can be) fixed but do you use Religious Settlers? If so Pioneers/Colonists don't add more citizens and buildings, at least never did to me.

Religious Settler is not, in fact, compatible with the pioneers/colonists of CBP, for reasons I have not explored yet.

I do have the mod that auto-chops forests on cities.
I cleared my cache with the new version, will see if that works.

Another bug (or is it intentional?) - France gets a Museum for free in the capital at game start, but doesn't receive an Opera House. The ingame description suggests that these trigger when the prereq for Museums is researched.
I don't mind it though, it makes France a lot more interesting and competitive with some of the buffed civs.

Hi Gazebo, I'm still seeing cities getting tourism long before Great Works become available. Is there a reason why this could still be?

Aussie.

What civ are you? Also, what policies or beliefs have you taken? It sounds like a UI bug, but it may also be a problem in the dll.

hi Gazebo. In this particular game, I was playing as Rome....but it seems to occur no matter what Civ I am playing, or which policies I select (it usually happens when I only have 2-3 policies open). Even when it doesn't happen to me, I get reports of a Civilization already getting sufficient tourism to have influential culture.

Using any other mods aside from the CBP collection?

I am using several-like Civ4 Diplomacy Mod, Events & Decisions, Health & Plague (your versions of these two only), More Great Works, More Luxuries, the Copper Buff Mod & the Emmigration Mod (& I think it's called the Culture spread mod). I had this problem back before around v65 & v12, but then it went away over the next couple of versions. It's only in the versions you've released this week (11/24) that the problem has made a reappearance.

Hope that helps to nail down the problem!

Hmm... do me a favor and try using just CSD+CBP+CP+E&D+CIVIVDiplo (so many acronyms). That's my current test setup, and I've not encountered this bug. I worry it may be related to the emigration mod, but perhaps not.

I'm guessing it's also safe to use H&P too, given that you made it compatible?

Something seems to be very screwy in 66.3/12.5.

After the first turn I noticed that one of city states had various Great Persons in one of their cities and I checked with IGE - must have been ~100 or so!

Any way I thought this might just be a fluke with the CS and decided to go on. After turn ~30 (Epic Speed) Russia founded a religion - don't even think I had a notice of them founding a pantheon prior to this and it was certainly VERY early so I started up IGE once again and checked their capital. Once again it was full of Great Persons - guess they must have had a Great Prophet even though I mostly notice generals (and admirals I think).

I use a lot of other mods but have never seen anything like this before!

Hi Gazebo. So I stripped my mods down to the very bare bones-as you suggested-& I am *still* getting the problem with cities producing Tourism without first getting a Great Work.

I am seriously thinking of taking time off from this mod, until after this issue is fixed, because it is a truly game-breaking bug for me :(.

I think I can get away with just using the Community Balance Patch though.

Checked again, Pioneers still don't work properly (as of 24th patch).
Every time I have used the SP in liberty that starts cities with +1 population. (Liberty is way too good in this mod btw...)

Another bug:
Desert (non floodplains) with access to Fresh water produces +4 food when farmed (with Civil Service) - this is better than having an Oasis even, and even stronger with the Imperialism policy that gives 2/2 on those tiles. (That policy is really strong, should be reduced to 1/1, or 1/1 + 1sci...)

I got the same with CP + CBP + CSD: after my 2nd turn, the game waited for a long time, and now I am surrounded by Great Generals and Admirals by one of the city-states.

If it helps, Gazebo, there does seem to be *some* kind of pattern in the appearance of Tourism. When I found a city (not necessarily the first), when I build a unit (again, not necessarily the first), when my population grows (again, not the first time necessarily), & when I get access to a new policy (again, though, not necessarily the first time). So in-game events do seem to trigger appearance of tourism, & it's not completely random.

I hope that helps you in your bug hunt :-).

I had a similar issue, but I found that if I quit to windows, then started a new game from scratch, the problem seemed to magically vanish.
