I feel incredibly stupid asking this--as no one else seems to be having this problem and it is thus clearly on my end and not the mod's--but I keep having the same problem, and I am baffled.

I download a new version, and it works swimmingly. I eventually force myself to save the game so I can sleep and go to work, come back the following day to complete my game, and it crashes every single time I try to load. If I try to start a new game, sometimes it crashes before the game starts, sometimes a few turns in.

I delete the cache and moduserdata folders, try again, same result. I delete the entire mydocuments/mygames/civ5 folder, reinstall the patch, and everything works fine again--I can even load the old game (having moved it to another location before the mass deletion).

I had this same problem with the last two or three betas, but never before then.

Where am I going wrong?

Enable logging, try to load the game, then post your logs.

Anyone else having problems with the Colonist? Anytime I use a Colonist to found a city, it doesn't get any of the additional buildings/land/citizens that it is supposed to come with. Pioneer still works fine. CBP with EUI is the only mod I'm running (or even have on my PC atm). The production cost to build Colonists is also the same as a Settler.

Um, should I take the no response to this as "shut up, n00b"?

Playing with the CP only + the standard EUI (and the appropriate LUA files deleted). The first caravan I sent on a trade route disappears from the map (no unit and no trade route arrows on regular or strategic map), although it is still listed in the trade routes screen.

Playing CPP, 3-8 compilation.
Morocco, turn 227, Prince.
Religion: Goddes of Renewal. Way of Trascendence, Pagodas, Inspiration, Scripture.
Social: Tradition (full), Piety (full), Aestethics (3 SP)

Great Prophet (from Tower of Pisa) over Tundra said +1 food, +6 other things for Holy Site. After improvement, Holy Site says +12 food, +6 other things. My city has a Grocer and many other buildings.

I think that's a bug.

Some yield bonuses don't appear in EUI's tooltip.

In international congress, it shows 2 delegates more than what I am able to use.
2 of them comes from religious authority. My religion was chosen world religion in the first congress and revoked in the second. It seems that the tooltip keeps saying I have religious authority, but I haven't

EDIT: Oh, wait. If i've sold my vote previously, am I able to change it in the congress?

Happened again, like clockwork. Here are the logs.

Also, this is... weird.

So, the last time this happened, I started a new game, random civ (drew Inca), got a few turns, crashed. Did the reinstall thing.

Tried again. New game, random civ. Drew Inca again. "Weird," I thought, but hey, roughly a 2.5% chance of drawing the same random civ twice in a row. Played all last night, got up to the Industrial, called it a night.

Tried to reload, crashed. Posted those logs above. Reinstalled. For shits and giggles, I started a new game, random civ.

Got the Inca again. There's a 0.06% of drawing the same random civ thrice in a row. I've no idea if this is related to the reinstalls, or the crashes, or if it is just one crazy random fluke.

EDIT: :) :) :) :):) :) :) :):) :) :) :):) :) :) :) even the reinstall isn't letting me reload my save now. Evil spirits have possessed my computer.

I don't believe the RNG works that way. Chances are not cumulative upon each game start, so it is always a 1:43 chance.
I could be wrong and wouldn't mind clarification on that, but pretty confident.

He's right. If the function is reasonably random, the odds of getting the same Civ three times in three picks is about .05% or 1 in 1849. I'm guessing there's something weird going on.

So me and my friends have just grabbed the 3/9 EUI version of the multiplayer modpack, and on our first game on it by turn 103 one of my friends (as Venice) tried to found a religion, but when he got to the belief selection screen, clicking "Choose Founder/Follower Belief" doesn't do anything for him. We've tried a bunch of things, including switching his religion choice (from Shinto/Taoism/etc. at the top), trying to right-click the found religion button to see if he could delay the choice until next turn, re-hosting the game from a save, even having him leave the game then advancing the turn (which just makes the AI take his turn without picking beliefs, and when he reconnects the next turn the same problem repeats). The Faith tooltip still said that no World Religion has been founded, and 3 more can be founded (map size Small with 6 civs). We haven't tried to see if the problem persists even after starting over yet, but it's a pretty game-breaking bug, so I hope a solution can be found soon.

Please refer to the modpacks thread for a discussion of this.

Also, you got to turn 103 w/ the EUI modpack? Nice.
