Bug Reports

Hello, all. I don't have the saved game here (at work), but I get the same "Waiting for other Civilizations" thing, between turn 52-55 or so. It happens when I start as the Greeks (on my fourth or fifth turn of play), and also when I choose to start as the Persians or Romans (in the automated turns before I can start). This is the 1.95 RFC version for Civ 1.61, and I've tried on two different machines -- one P4 and one Pentium D, always with the same result.

I would love to play the mod! Please find the bug!

If another save file would help, just let me know and I'll produce one.

Oh, yes. I forgot to say it. I'm using the "Decipher me or I'll devour you MODCOMP" from Edungeon. However, I didn't suspect it could have something to influence on it. Well, who knows? :confused:
 
Playing as Germany trying their UHV and I'm finding that the control Russia, Greece and Rome is not working correctly, unless of course I'm missing some land.

Hi. I've had similar problems about the game freezing (turn wheel keeps on spinning endlessly) around the 45th -55th turns of the game. I have downloaded both files and I still have the problem. One question I have about the 2nd rar file, it has a gamecoredll file inside and that is the one I am supposed to replace the file with in the core game, correct?

Well I've used about 3 different civilizations (Greece, Egypt, China) and I get the same problem. No I don't have any custom assets. If someone could offer some help that would be great as I do really want to play this mod.

post the save that's causing problems
 
Not sure if this was mentioned before, but my vassels are voting agaisnt me in the world congresses. It happened as few times where my vassels have voted to give one of my cities to another nation. Obvisously I'm voting against giving away my own cites but my vassels are voting against me. I have two Vassels, one by capititulation and the other by their own choice. I have a good relation with the vassel by choice.
are Vassels suppposed to be able to vote give away my cities?

I've had a +3 relation with China and +11 with Egypt and they still have voted to give one of my most productive Viking cities to the English.(Not to mention Egypt requested being my vassal to hold off English advancing on Northern Africa)It doesn't make sense but it actually happens in more games than not.:confused:
 
not sure if this has been reported in 145 or not. When playing as mongols, i meet turkey, and can then build the mongol embassy. perhaps the turkish and mongol embassies are switched?
 
I was playing as Japan and I found that I had the option to build the Incan embassy without ever meeting the Incans (they have spawned already, though).

(EDITED for maximum helpfulness -- just noticed I can upload filed to civfanatics up to 10MB)

Hello, all. I've been enjoying Rhye's and Fall a lot, in the vanilla version (1.95).

Now this isn't a big deal, and I don't even know if it's mod specific, but it's happened twice now that I get a message from a civ I was at peace with, setting demands to make peace with them (which I do), then I get a message declaring war.

The aftermath is, that I am at peace with them, so this is mostly a problem with the order of the messages. But it seems that what the AI is trying to do is extort me, and I'm not clear why they are declaring war in the first place. And this costs me good hammers in Embassy construction . . .

All that said, I'm enjoying the mod, playing Greece, Persia, and Rome so far (different games) . . .
