Exactly what I would have saidits good practice!! And ill get better and better !!
Kristina, what I really did like in a Byz set produced by Kyriakos - there was no feeling cities are islamic and IIRC towers were added to the Hagia Sophia by Ottomans (please, correct me if I'm wrong). That's the thing #1. The thing #2 - I can't use ancient egyptian set by Kyr in my mod (everyone is a modder) because in size 3 there's a Pyramid. Pyramid is a great wonder and will be located in the only one city, but looking at the map I see it in every city. So, be careful with adding big and well known wonders to your sets.
My comment is not a pointing to "mistakes" but suggestion and some useful info gathered here to help you to improve your work - if these suggestions are acceptable to you (dislike to impose anything but like to share). Keep up the good work, Kristi!![]()
Every set of yours I see is nice. I like your style. Both versions are worth keeping. The only thing I might change would be to tone down the orange a little bit in the 1st version.

byzantines did not use high gothic brick domes - these domes were a feature a renaissance italy...if
u are trying to create something byzantine than a half sphere dome would fit the period. what u created could be florence..
It's really too bad that you removed the other set rather than just renaming it. All the squawking was about the label, not the graphics themselves. "Turkish cities", "Cities of Asia Minor" ... there are many excellent alternative names for what is in and of itself a beautiful set. Please never remove your creations just because this or that person doesn't like them. That's stifling creativity if not censorship.
I have to add this guy - Jerry's Goldfish - works as an architector, so he on the topic and his advices are truly valuable.Kristina said:(replying to JG) That may be very true.
