What has happened to artstyles like, Celts and Iroquois?? They have separate art other than the common ones.

As well as the Civ4 Iroquois, there was a Custom Civ version that was removed. Is that what you are referring to.
 
Yes they have but they are using 99% units from Native American set (Iroquois) or European (Celts).

Celts ok they didnt have alot of units, but the Iroquois had only a few in the beginning to make them look different a little bit.(pic1) and are still ingame

HUH? Iroquois is still in C2C?? They were never taken out.(pic2)

Im checking now Iroquies and you have right. They got 10-15% different units. Also im adding code to not included units such Bandit Riders, Camel units etc.
Soon i post new files.

Yes, it is still ingame (BTS version probably). But there was also a custom civs version that added 7 new flavour units (they seem to be your unique units in Pic 1 of your post.) and the old MLF file had an entry for the Iroquois. I still have the folder - if you want a copy. :)

This only adds 7 new units but they are unique. Plus a newer LH pic of Hiawatha.

This is some of the units i found, i am going to place in more, and anyone that wants to help can and or make suggestions what to change, add etc.

In the Artstyle you cant put any of the Alt Timeline or other modular units in there (core) they belong in the modular area only. Otherwise we go back to the MAF's and crashes like before.

Ok Ill create new art files in each module and move information to them.
 
For these very small changes is updating my SVN folder and exporting it onto my working install the correct way to do it? Or is there a quicker and easier way than that? I can't imagine changes to a single animal mesh requiring a complete reinstall.

I've only used Tortoise once before briefly for the CK2 mod Lux Invicta so I'm not really the best at using it.

Just transfer a copy of the updated SVN files to your playing copy.
