C2C SVN Changelog

The Horse Archer is the only unit with Ranged Attack in its update line. Even the Zebra Archer (or how it is called) dont have a Ranged Attack in in Pedia description.

Edit2: more updates
- Deer Archer, Giraffe Archer and Zebra Archer can now do ranged bombardment.

They should have "ranged attack" not "ranged bombardment". "Ranged Bombardment" is for things like siege weapons and ships.
 
Except that the Horse Archer has always been able to do it! edit camel archer also!

But if you look the Horse Archer has no range. While say a Ballista Elephant has a Range of 1 and can Bombard City Defense. Mounted Archers should not be able to do city bombardment, but can do ranged attacks. Or is something messed up here?

Yes, I said "ranged bombardment" when I meant "ranged attack".:blush: I just copied the ranged XML from the horse archer to the others.
 
Updates
- small changes to the pirate ships while we do more work.
- added default great doctor graphic to the Great People pop-up. It works for me if it works for someone other than StrategyOnly, I will add the rest. I think SO already has them.;)
 
Pushed to SVN...

  • Flavor settings for all Government Civics
  • Revisions/Adjustments to Democracy, Republic, Federal, and Fascist to make more attractive and balanced
 
Updates for Subdue Animals
- Update the spawn details for half of the new animals. Birds, reptiles and fish.
- Allow some more animals to be subdued. Mostly sea creatures.
- Add some new buildings. Fur Farm in the 1860's, Songs which allow certain buildings to be built anywhere in you nation rather than just in the capital. More to come.
- Experiment with threat promotions. Tuna, crab, duck, mackerel and pheasant are all completely harmless.

Edit
- Three new static movies for mega fauna wonders.
- Labyrinth and Bull Leaping wonders still need the Bull Myth but not in the same city. Uses the Song of Bull to do this.
 
I am having trouble combining the mod civics into the core civics. If I add them I get a an error saying that revolution info is not declared in the schema. If I change the schema to use the Afforess one then it says the city size limits are not declared in the schema.

What should I do? I don't know how to combine schemas.

Afforess_CIV4GameInfoSchema and CIV4GameInfoSchema seems to have different stuff that one has and the other doesn't

Re-posting this here. Can anyone on the team who knows how to do schema files help?
 
The Afforess version has everything in the other version plus all the extras. So you should use the Afforess one as your base.

I tried but the part with civics allowing for city limit (ex X number of cities with Monarchy) says it not declared in the Afforess version.

I would show you by putting it up on the SVN but then it would just break the game since no civics could load.

OK, so what you are saying is that the schema in the mod with the extra civics is different. Gottcha. I looked at the wrong ones, I looked at the core ones. I'll have another look and get back to you.

Edit try the attached. If it works put it on the SVN when you do your update.

Ok now I am getting even more errors. Here are the core files I altered. Please replace these files plus delete Garbage, Immigration, Education, Language and Agriculture folders in the Hydro folder under Modules. I know there are garbage buildings that will be missing but at least you can test it that way. If you get it to work I can fix the garbage mod later.

I have no idea what the cause of the error is. I had everything from missing Victory Conditions to it saying I was missing the Civics. Please help.

If you cannot fix it then I guess we better just leave my additional civics modular since it seems like so much effort for just moving data to a new location.
