Damn hard game now on Deity, have to star again, if i dont have a good start i cant keep up with these asslickers... AI plays better. Before i was ever the worldleader, now its harder. Good.

Hey Thunderbrd fix these overflows, make the game to save stuff to the HDD or whatever, if you die we can develope the mod further, but we cant code so good to fix these gamebreaking problems. :) I dont buy to many new games now, coming ever back to play this one...

In deity the AI manages to reach sedentary lifestyle with 5 cities around 5000 BC while I'm still researching tribalism (even if playing almost optimally) and stuck with the capital, quite hard indeed. :)
 
The Target was 6000BC. But if the AI on Deity is doing it by 5000BC then that is great!
 
Also @Pit2015 it seems in the latest version USA's AI is stuck on deity difficulty as that would explain why they struggle so much in my test playthroughs.

Btw, @JosEPh_II this is on the latest SVN revision (9648).

Are you using the AI Difficulty Option? And thanks for the info on SVN.

The overflows are a problem, but not the only one in lategame. Much past modern it just really isn't developed much yet.

Damn fix that deer attack bug, i have + 2.00 odds and my spiked culbman gets killed by deers... deer has only 2 strength.

Your spiked club Has to develop Hunter Promos to fight the wild life. Straight Combat 1 won't do it anymore. You got to catch up there :old: ! :lol:
 
I know to use my units swamp fox. :crazyeye: Its a bug or display bug, 4.80 against 2.80 and i allways mostly loose the unit when a deer is in forest or swamp... super deers, and also my spiked culbman had 10 promotions... other animals no problem with strength 2, but deers are super deers and have archer sound at defense, something wrong there.

Also Raccon Myth can be build without Animal Myth Requirement that comes with language tech, consider to make it so that it needs Animal Myth Requirement.

Then you need to post this in the Bug thread and address Dancing Hoskuld.
 
Yeah, bug reports in your own map thread are probably not likely to get much traction. Deer do have some forest combat modifier so are you taking note of that in the combat help hover?
 
Joseph u can tell Dancing that i am activ again and i am finding alot of stuff for him again and he should look here. :thumbsup: Its miscalculating in help hover Thunderbrd, thats the problem i think, should display negativ or mostly equal, but looks like a easy win in help hover but you always get defeated.

Dancing comes and goes as he pleases. But I'll try to remember to tell him.

The end numbers don't lie. At least I haven't caught them in one yet given that they derive the number for the battle from the same calculations.
 
Ok this really sucks... +90% gamespeed and -49 gold for a city i conquered, so you cant keep up on deity... where can i change these two variables in the mod? I hardly managed to get that city and its not to far away and i have to pay 50 gold maintenance, sucks. I need to change this, where can it be changed? Screenshot...

I have to change the distance to capital variable and the +90% gamespeed variable. Where can that be changed? This makes early conquering unpossible... should be +10% for gamespeed and +4 gold for distance, something like this.
