Anyone knows where are the maintenance cost for the number of citys that you own is modded like MAX_DISTANCE_CITY_MAINTENANCE? But only for the number of citys you got?

BUG: Since last update, can you fix that? On game loading screen while loading my savegame screenie...
Yeah I should be able to resolve it. Our German translator musta goofed a bit.

Ultimate Earth Map V3.7 released!

Changes in C2C - Ultimate Earth Map V3.7 100% MOD and SVN update compatible:

Rapa Nui isle added.
New main feature added: Two secret costal ways from galapagos to the pacific isles and from south america to rapa nui added for early ships to simulate the early inca voyages to the pacific and rapa nui. Connects the costal way arround earth, but long ways to go until you research the tech required to enter the oceans with ships.
Some more unexplored isels loot plots added into the oceans, go out there with your ships and find them before any other civ will do it.
Some minor map changes.

<iNumCitiesMaintenancePercent>
Found in: Assets\XML\GameInfo\
  1. CIV4HandicapInfo.xml
  2. CIV4WorldInfo.xml

Ok tx, i increased my maintenance cost after my changes there a bit for city distance and the cost for the number of citys maintenance a bit to make my current game a bit harder and make it more compatible with current AI strength.

See how your AI function on the latest DLL. Let me know. I might not try to address every flaw you can spot but I'm hoping for some improvement.

Oh... and the Rapa Nui are Polynesian and migrated in from the West of Easter Island rather than from Peru. Just sayin'.

Ok will do and my current game will show how the AI goes now, but look into the vikings, there AI looks totaly disrupted.

Nope there was boat tests and theories that the inca gone there first from south america, look in this doku. ;)Norwegian guy rebuilded the boat of that legend to test that... so its most likely the osterinseln (rapa nui) was populated by incas not polynesian first, so we have both posiblities on the UEM map now, polynesian have the option to go there but the inca also now.

(You see the tales and some facts in the video, and in that doku they builded a new boat on old tales to test for ocean waters. Also there are alot of tales, facts and legends that tells inca was first there. Also there are potatos on rapa nui, the inca king or son of the kind got them by present from peasants on the way to the boat before he traveled to rapa nui.)

Google: thor heyerdahl rapa nui or inca populated rapa nui.

I looked into WB, some of the civs that build less or no citys are missing the circle in WB that displays where they will settle next, like the vikings and polynesian civ. Dont know if thats a problem, or if it will only come up when they want to go to settle. Vikings still let his tribe sitting in there main city and dont go to settle after your AI update. Maybe load the savegame i provided on page 34 here and look into it.

From sources I read tonight and didn't record the location of, genetic testing shows them now to be firmly polynesian in origin. They also have western european influence from early explorers. Incan blood is not in their native veins.

That really wasn't what I was trying to address. I trust that he has a reason to be hanging on to his tribe, most likely to train the escorts for that tribe. Do you send your settlers without the city protection they will need for the journey and once they get there? Or do you just figure if someone comes in and sacks your new city that it's no big deal? Maybe while you're waiting for the units to be trained, you might have researched some good new build options? Maybe you realize that it's not too smart to be growing when you haven't even developed the city you have very well and perhaps you really need workers right now and that holds up the training of the escorts your tribe is waiting on? Maybe you have had a thief lurking about in your empire recently and as a result, you want to be extra careful with that tribe and not send him out until you've curbed growing crime or built some extra protection for when you do send him out, or extra protection for your workers you'll build once you build the escorts for them because the dang thief is jumping out and killing any workers you are trying to field because he's destroyed all the improvements, which is making you nervous to try to expand your empire at all?

There's so many considerations that it could take months to figure out why this one nation has decided to stop growing. I'll look at that later when I have more time. In the meantime, just watch to see if it clears up eventually and try to figure out from when it does what it might've been that had him holding his cards.

Thats no prove that the inca wasnt there first, so they may have killed the inca later or the inca left again. ;)It still a controverse, and no one can explain why there are potatos from this time and they where only in south america this time. ;)So no one knows for sure, its a mystery why the inca still celebrate the ship arrival at titicaca see today. So it has been proved that many tryed to reach rapa nui with a kon tiki and they succeeded, so good to have that possibility now on the map, maybe the inca will do maybe they will not.

Ok will check the AI later again but looks like vikings and polynesia civ dont expand mostly at all in every game, must be maybe a leader trait or something or the AI for these two civs suck, if they have separated AI code, or maybe leader problem. We will see in the next 50 turns, i check them again.

Trade seems a better answer.

Ok

Trade, yep maybe and so the polonesian civ has also the possibility on the map to reach south america and make contact with the inca and trade potatos.

Wasn't trying to say it shouldn't.

Yep i understand, no problem... so the players here get a bit historical knowledge when we discuss some scenarios, facts and possibilities. :)

Not a bug. In the city you're looking at how it's also affecting upkeep and how that tallies in.
