C2C - UEM - Ultimate-Earth-Map 100% MOD and SVN update compatible by Pit2015

I have the latest SVN release, installed and ran by the instructions, check for version 12, and am still getting the same unable to read error.

Did you tryed normal C2C maps do they work? At wich point it tells you unable to read?

Installation and usage:

Get and download the Caveman2Cosmos mod, then:

1. Unzip or copy the file C2C-UEM-ByPit2015-V4.3 to
...\Documents\My Games\beyond the sword\Saves\WorldBuilder

2. RECOMMEND: If you use steam, use Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword Beta "Original release" in Betas in steam.

3. Start Beyond the Sword select "Advanced" then "Load a Mod"

Load the Caveman2Cosmos mod.

Select Single Player then select "Play a Scenario", choose the scenario C2C-UEM-ByPit2015-V4.3 and start it.

Play this scenario in eternity speed, otherwise you will get technologys to fast in later game when you manage to grow big.

Highest difficulty level recommended for this scenario/map.

Make sure to play on Deity and Eternity game speed, otherwise you get techs to fast.

Please clear the cache folder before you start a new game. This removes the old cached data from your previously played C2C version and will help eliminate conflicts and oddities.

This is the Path to the proper cache folder to clear (delete contents) for Win 10 users:
C:\Users\"Username"\AppData\Local\My Games\Beyond the Sword\cache

Also turn off damaging terrain in BUG on new games.

Sounds like your SVN installation is corrupt.
Delete it and check out again.

First try redownloading latest map.

I redownloaded C2C 40.1 and installed UEM 4.3 according to the instructions. Still getting the unable to read error when I select the map on the play scenario and press ok. Space maps work just fine.
I also tried UEM 4.2 and got the same error.

4.3 doesn't work on V40.1, same with 4.2 I guess.
V4.3 loaded normally on latest SVN for me.
I guess you shouldn't be in scenario selection when copying map to publicmaps in mod folder.

Oh I see. So the only way this works is through the SVN route? (which admittedly I don't quite understand)

Maybe mod bug, maybe it will work when you get the tech "Mining", it will enable gold. You can go into worldbuilder and look for gold in australia to make sure you did not installed something wrong.

Its not mod bug, he has V40.1, so I guess your older maps doesn't have gold in Australia.

Hmm... no UEM 4.2 and UEM 4.3 has BonusType=BONUS_GOLD_ORE.

UEM 4.1 has BonusType=BONUS_GOLD.

So its because of your bonus name changes, if hes using old C2C 40.1 he needs to use UEM 4.1 hes using wrong UEM map maybe.

@Mind Flower You need to use with C2C 40.1 UEM 4.1 better install SVN to use latest C2C version, then you can use UEM 4.2 and 4.3.

I write that to first posting now... into install manual:

I accedentlly put the loader in the wrong drive. Does in need to be in the mod folder? I did everything and didnt see gold in australia. maybe I need to start over?

As said, if you use Caveman2Cosmos 40.1 then download UEM 4.1 map and start a new game.

If you use Caveman2Cosmos SVN then download UEM 4.3 map and start a new game.

You need to remove FEATURE_RAINWATER_BASIN as it doesn't exist anymore
Also change Version=12 to Version=13
