Wait, wait, lets clear it up. If Fascism requires maintenance then I was right, Feudalism does not require maintenance. The table must be slightly wrong.

Perhaps if Beta testers wish to answer questions in this thread, they should do so based on experience in the release version ;)

I guess you are right. The time will come and I'll get the *final* version. ;)

I am basing this on the final version, they both require maintenance. In fact, the only gov't that doesn't is Anarchy.

Alright, I have a question wondering if I am not doing something right or if it's a bug. Playing the Conquests Scenario 'Age of Discovery' and I have some mines and plantations making treasures (btw this scenario reminds me of two favorite games Uncharted Waters and Colonization ) anyways, I'm supposed to be able to get these to my capital right? For extra victory points? Wrong! They wont move!! All I can do is fortify sentry wait or skip turn with them... I move in my galleons for transport and nada not even able to load them. Like I said this is my first time with it so am I doing something wrong or is it a bug ? Thanks in advance.

Pick them up with a unit that can move.

I have a question. Let's say a civilization has flavor "A" checked off in the editor, and the relationship with flavor "A" and flavor "B" is 0%. Will that civilization never research a tech that is associated with flavor "B", or is it just that the possibility for that tech being researched by that civilization is very small?

Wondering if anyone knows what tech (if any) is required to clear wetlands. Playing my first game as Sumer and there's a city site I want (coastal with freshwater too) but it's a swamp. Need to clear it fast before the Babs muscle in and waste a good city site by missing both the coastal access and the freshwater with their settler.

Thanks in advance.

For any conquest players, i have one big question....

Does the resources and tecnologies, from the 9 missions are avaliable in the normal game??Like diferente carriers and stuff..

@IluDeR- Not everything from the Conquests are available in the main game. Every scenario has its own units, wonders, and resources that are found in the game, and aren't in the game

0% is 0%. AFAIK, it won't research that tech. This is why flavor techs should all be optional techs.

This is directed to ParkRanger and others who post later, it will be helpful if you say what conquest you are doing if that's the case or just doing the regular civ conquests game.

And specifically to answer his/her question, my game I was playing the regular civ game(with conquests installed) it took 12 turns and I cleared a tile (that was what it would have taken with just one guy.

Sorry if this has been asked before; but what is the difference between a Rally Point and a "Continental Rally point"?

In the extras part with the fan-designed scenarios etc, you can start a normal game using sn00py and warpstorm's art - but the C3C civs aren't available for selection (even though the new C3C rules/layout etc are applied). Anyone know how to fix this, preferably without having to download anything from the net? (After seeing sn00py's, the normal jungles and forests are utter eyesores!)

Hornhelm, you could make a scenario in the conquests/scenarios directory that 'points' to the terrain art files in the the scenario search folder field.

This will give you a partial solution. If you do it right you'll get the full rules. What you won't get are the new terrain types. They will use the original C3C artwork for them. This doesn't clash as much on Sn00py's but looks pretty bad on mine (although you won't get Sn00py's wonderful new marshes).

Although you prefer not doing it, the best solution is to download the new versions.

QUESTION:

Playing on Middle Ages as Denmark. Captured Holy Grail from English. Holy Grail cannot move. Do I need to have possession of Jerusalem before the relics can be moved? Or, as Denmark, am I incapable of participating in the whole relic-race?

Thank you.

Thanks Warpstorm. And to think I've played civ so long without them. I hope they hire you guys for civ4! *Tips cap*
