C3C Graphics Mixer

I made a tool that can view a lot of format of Graphics as below and Mix any tile of those files to C3C PCX file:
1. View Format of Graphics.
1.1 BMP/ICO/WMF/EMF/JFIF/JPE/JPG/JPEG
1.2 RLE/DIB
1.3 WIN/VST/VDA/TGA/ICB
1.4 TIFF/TIF/FAX/EPS
1.5 PCX/PCC/SCR
1.6 RPF/RLA
1.7 SGI/RGBA/RGB/BW
1.8 PSD/PDD
1.9 PPM/PGM/PBM
1.A CEL/PIC
1.B PCD
1.C GIF
1.D CUT
1.E PSP
1.F PNG
2. Mix Tile of above graphics to C3C PCX File
3. Save As JPG for Forum

Please let me know if you have any request or idea or can't view a format above, and don't forget to send that format picture to me so that I can test.

So you can select any tile from any pcx file in the game and paste it into another pcx file? Terrain files too?

This looks like it could be a useful utility. Please post a download, unless you just posted this to tease us.

You can use it to view any pcx file, and copy tile of one pcx file to another and save it.

Sweet I needed this and didn't even know it.

Mod Editor isn't the best name, it makes it sound like another biq editor. Try PCX Swapper or Graphics Mixer or something like that

I downloaded it but it's not recognizing any of my pcx files- I selected several different source folders and it didn't show any.

I just uploaded the newest version, now you can mix to make your favorite mod graphic file, especiall for terrain and so on.

I realized why my pcx files aren't being recognized- I have GIMP installed, and pcx files are labeled as "GIMP Image"s. I named a text file ".pcx" and it showed up in the editor. So now I just have to figure out how do disassociate pcx files from GIMP.

It is easy to do.
Click right button on pcx file in explore, then select properties, then click button "change"(maybe "modify" or similar name), then you can select C3CGraphicMixer, so you can view your pcx files.

There is a pcsfiles.txt in the mixer folder, should I put it somewhere else?

This file is pcxfiles.txt, not pcsfiles.txt, it should be put in the same folder with mixer.

it's pcx, that was a typo. And it is in the folder. But the warning says it's looking for it in the folder I try to open a pcx file from. When I open the program by itself, it still isn't recognizing any files.

You have to open file in mixer, this tool doesn't support to open file when you click on that file.
By the way, did you download the current version? I am not sure what do you mean

This really has nothing to do with this. But could you make a program that takes a series of .png files and make them into an animated gif? This would save a whole lot of time for me.

Thats ok. I was just seeing if it was possible. As I said it would save me a whole lot of time (mainly making previews for units).

Hi, I just updated this tool, now you can double click on pcx files after you set association with it.
Tool will show pcx file double clicked in Viewer mode.
