C3C PBEM : "Cabral" - Age of Discovery scenario-based PBEM

Played and sent. I downloaded it on Wednesday and played it tonight.
 
The Nelson curse refers to a game called "Nelson" based on the Napoleonic scenario that has been plagued with stoppages. It is the first game I have played that has been a non or slow starter. We'd go through days of ... who has the turn ? It degraded into a name calling shouting match but things are on the mend now (I think).

The lesson learned is that these PBEM games are good providing you have commitment and communication. Once either of these two break down ...
 
Thanks. Agreed. It has been a bit sticky on the first round - I had problems as well. Let's hope it smooths out now that we are past that.

I usually go online at 10 PM Eastern Time (I think it's GMT -5) send my turns on and download the next batch. I usually don't get to play them until the next day and send them that night. People who've played with me know that I am a consistent player, and have only misses a few days once to a vacation and a few days to technical difficulties...

:D yes, I think we can baptize a game stalled, as the "Nelson Curse". And as you know W2, I know very well what you mean. :p

Anyway, this game didint seems stalled at all! In fact, IMHO, you guys have a considerable fast pace, for a number of players in! :clap:

So continue in this way, and remember, sometimes, is normal ppl dont have the chance to play for some days... the main rule is advise first here.

Sorry for mess about here, but i like this scenario, and i may be just watching it... ;)

Haven't figured that one out yet. Might make you're life miserable in Nimitz if I could (Not in the thread, but to my allies....)

I've sent Provolution a couple of e-mails now but still no word. Must be out of circulation for some reason.
