@ Romeo : well a few things :
- this game has much more players than RoR (7 vs 4) and that delays actually more than twice the game... (don't search for arithmetics here lol).
- this game was intended for beginners. Not that I don't want to see it running (and hopefully ending) but it was a good way to check reliable players (Random Fan, you for instance) and not reliable ones (Bibor apparently for instance) while people at CDZ are usually active PBEM players only (they made the site for that originately).
- summer holidays and their many breaks delay so much the game it is hard to get it back on tracks for some people lose interest.
- there might be a curse in Napoleonc PBEMs !!!! The first one I was in stalled fairly quickly, Grognards is the slowest PBEM I have organized, and now Eylau... and surprisingly it is actually one of the shortest scenario !).
- about Tanit, you as a player have a role to play to dynamize the game, make active e-mail diplomacy at the beginning for instance. I cannot always go after every player (maybe it is my fault because I launched and play in too many) especially for the ones in which I don't play. What I have noted is that it is always good that every player posts until the game is running well.
- Sengoku has nearly the same problems.
- that's why people usually play in a few different PBEMs so that they don't get bored if one gets too slow or just stops :-(
- I have contacted Duddha anyway.
Not to criticize you, I agree 100%.
And from now on, I will only accept new players after they already have played as a replacement player and proved reliable. Think I have done my share to attract new players and don't want reliable players to "pay" for easy come-easy-go players...
