In our effort to take the city of Peking back to the Chinese we have killed 1 MG Batalion (on the hills north of Peking).

I am missing some fighters in Midway and all my troops there are injured, hmm. I hate those stealth japanese planes.

Another month of light skirmishes ensures with the sinking of a destroyer each off the coasts of Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. This was followed by the destruction of a division of MG battalion and Nipponese infantry guarding the Bhuket frontiers. We've lost an ANZAC in the assault.

Sadly we failed to destroy the japanese rubber routes this turn, one we might come to regret.

We made much attack on emeny dis tunr...

Marines south of Chinking finally sucumb to relentless honorable artillery and conscript infantry destroy them and get promoted :goodjob:

Light Tank destroys Nipponese infantry guarding artillery battery northeast of Hanoi and captures battery

Artillery lowers Nipponese infantry down two hp and then medium tank kills unit south of Kaifeng. Infantry unit tries to kill redlined infantry under him but only succeeds in dieing and promoting redlined unit.

Med. Tank kills marine north of Nanking and captures more Japanese artillery, we thank Japanese High command, we were getting low on batteries of artillery and this helps to shore up our supply

We hope to destroy many more bombers over our homeland as evil Japanse are trying to take away all happiness in our country...

The Commonwealth high command are in a state of quiet jubliation this month as they comfortably liberated the city of Bhuket from the evil Japanese aggressors and with its buildings still intact!

Elsewhere the marine sighseeing near the Indian front was also easily dispatched to no losses. A light tank threatening our Dutch neighbours in Sangkoelirang was bombarded down to a hitpoint and its escape now cut off by an ANZAC who killed the marine guarding the route.

Japanese losses:
1 elite marine ('RAMBO')
1 vet marine
1 vet MG battlion
The city of Bhuket.
Rubber supply cut once more.

Commonwealth has no losses to report.

Well, the japanese troops will miss it! they had pass a good time in there, in these last months. They particulary loved the Bhuket food, with its famous dish "Bhuket duck barbecue", very traditional in there. And of course, the women... Oh the women... how nice they were to the japanese comands... Oh well, we loved it so much that, we just may come back some day in the near future... :mischief:

Let me tell you, you just kill an japanese national hero, his name - Atsumori Rambo!

He was also a very promisse actor, and he was already appointed to some major roles, concerning action japanese movies.
Anyway, he has a son, John Rambo, that is half-american (though there are some suspicous about he just dont seems japanese at all) and may be just one day, he will be a good fighter and an actor too...

The Chinese sent their tanks into action against the Nipponese infantry. Three divisions die under the treads of our machines!

On the contrary, come back and bring more friends, we could use the target practice :D :p

But the ones in Jap territory make just as good targets as any...

And those ones aren't as close to me...

Taking our Dutch friends' advice to heart, the British high command issued the fated commands this month - "switch to offensive, we take the fight to our enemies". An order letting lose excited suspense in some and guarded foreboding in others.

In the newly liberated city of Bhuket, a recon force of the Japanese was met by the new Armoured divison of the British, providing good on-field training for the gunner as he promptly killed the Japanese MG battalion and scaring its infantry guard into fleeing.

Near Rangoon, a conscript infantry was also killed, its punishment for daring to travel in Commonwealth lands alone.

A strike force now surrounds the metropolis of Bangkok with its only remaining road to the other Japanese cities cut off by a timely bombardment of the RAF. One would wonder what despair crosses the Bangkok defenders' faces as the bombs explodes on their only escape route.

Near Kudat, another Japanese strike force was noticed approaching the city. Unfortunately no armoured division was available for field testing and airstrike had to be ordered instead. The bombs landed true and the Japanese units were reduced to 2 hitpoints or less.

In our own major offensive this month, a beachhead was secured near the island of Manokari. Four medium tank division stormed up the sands, brining their guns to bear upon the besieged city. Expectations are high that the city shall be liberated within the month.

The Commonwealth has no losses to report.

I forgot to mention:

I'll be on vacation starting Christmas until after the New Year (~2/1/2005). During that week I won't have internet access at all.

What are the plans for the rest of you? If all of you want to keep playing throughout the week, I'll pass my password to somebody to play for me during that time.

After fierce artillery and aerial bombardment, the Chinese military unleashed their medium tanks to include a new medium tank army (soon to be named the Sun Tzu army)! The Japanese defenders (or attackers, depending upon how one looks at it, I suppose) were caught completely by surprize at these shock tactics from their Asian brothers.

Casualty figures and battle results are:
Japan--location--China
Nipponese infantry--south of Taiyuan--by Med. tank
Marine--northwest of Peking--by infantry
Nipponese infantry--north of Hankow--by M. tank
Combat engineer--Near Nanning--Med. tank (promoted)
Conscript Nipponese--same--tank army
Nipponese--same--tank army--promoted
Flak--same--m. tank--promoted (-2hp)
Nipponese--same--conscript infantry--promoted (-1hp)
Elite Nipponese infantry--Foochow--light tank (-1hp)

for lurkers victory points stand at Japan: 19935; Allies: 14180
