BATTLE REPORT
Bombed Spain and France.

=====================================

No we don't trust the commies yet. How could we? On two occasions we have sent them messages and they never replied. Isn't that a clear evidence that they were planning on declaring war on us all along? :nospam:

And we don't trust the MANEATER either. With his invasion of Russia, he is living up to his fame. He leaves us no choice but to fight until the end: To EAT or be EATEN. That's all that's left in this civilized "western world"... :aargh:

PS: By the way, I sent this last turn to PIRKE directly to his dutch email.

The Germans would like to correct an error. The English stated that:

And we don't trust the MANEATER either. With his invasion of Russia, he is living up to his fame.

This is completely and utterly incorrect. If you weren't so busy trying to press your capitolistic ways on the peace loving Germans you would notice that it was the Russians that launched an attack upon the lands of Germany. We did nothing, I repeat NOTHING to warrant this attack. It was completly and utterly unprovoked. We were blind-sided by this attack. All we did was retailate in kind to repair what we lost. We felt we needed to capture a couple of cities to get some workers to repair the damage to our rail system.

You see, it's these kinds of lies and manipulation of the truth that causes these wars in the first place. It is you and your English ways that want to dominate the world and place everybody under your boot heel. Let me remind you as well as everybody else what has caused this war.

May, 1940: England attacks German forces in neutral territory.
May, 1940: France attacks German forces in neutral territory.
May, 1940: Germany feels the need to DEFEND herself so she retaliates against England and France.
June, 1940: England or France persuades Sweden, Dutch, and Spain to declare war on Germany.
May, 1941: Germany and Spain agree to peace. Germany and Sweden agree to peace
June, 1941: Russia attacks Germany without provocation or a declaration of war.
June, 1941: England or France persuades Spain to declare war on Germany.
June, 1941: Sweded declares war on Germany with the Russian interests in mind.

So you can see, Germany has never attacked another nation to start a war. Germany has always been on the receiving end of an attack, and might I add, WITHOUT a declaration of war. Your history is convulated and just outright lies. After this war when the world has been painted red with your blood, I shall set the history record straight.

Another semi-quiet month for the Germans.

Battle Reports:
Germany: Lost 1 panzer (to a Spainish flak????)

England:
My usual bombing of Southampton

Spain:
Lost 2 flak
Lost the city of Mucria

Russia:
Lost 1 tank and 1 infantry near Tallin
Lost 1 tank and road pillaged near Sevastopol.

Now I'm perplexed how Russian air can survive bombing my lands with all my jet fighters around.

We just noticed that the evil Soviet premeir declared war on us also! I guess we will have to join in with the English and the Germans to defeat this horrible menace!

Wait a minute...the English are still at war with us. That's right! Well then...

Take that! That's what we did. We took Malta. We got tired of wondering why the English should have the island since it was so near Tripoli and Sicily, so we decided to take it for ourselves. The residents didn't seem too happy about it, but hey, what can you say. At least it goes along with our policy of taking away the possessions of our enemies until they are willing to be nice and make peace.

Huh? When did I declare war?! You evil cheater, [pissed] :gripe: you! This means that you will face the might Italian Army and Navy!

Well, In my humble opinion, the original version of this scenario just isn't too spiffy. This is going to be soooooo much fun fighting Germany when they have Jet Fighters and TOW Infantry. I mean, c'mon!!! TOW Infantry in 1941? :p :p :p Russia can't research any tech because it takes 40 -60 turns. Game over by then, right?

Bombed a couple of German improvements.

Not much to report from the Germans this month.

Spain:
Lost 1 infantry
Lost 1 tank
Lost 2 artillery
Lost the city of Sevilla

Russia:
Bombed land around Sevastopol
Bombed land around Leningrad

England:
Bombed Southampton...again

The evil and treacherous French have continued their new war of aggression and have landed paratroopers in our territory in Libya. The Italian people take confidence in Guiseppe Trento, our general in charge of the N. African campaign. General Trento has just destroyed the English outpost of El Alamein (no choice or I would have captured it) and we are sure that he plans great revenge on the French.

Meanwhile, the French have fewer dyes as General Trento made sure to bomb those. The Italian forces have also reportedly injured some English troops near Alexandria and destroyed the commercial docks in that city. :king:

BATTLE REPORT

UK: Bombed France and Spain
Lost 1 bomber in France (jet fighter intercept!); notice Germans also have some SAM missiles in France waiting for my planes.

ITALY:
Lost 1 destroyer in West Mediterranean.

Comments:
Well, guys, I'm really sorry for what's happened. I really had faith in this scenario but practical experience shows that it is quite a Fxxx Ux, even if one has to recognize that the author did put in some hours of work there.

With the unrealistic German technological advantage, things are completely out of proportion.

I guess I would need to play the Allied version to know what you guys are talking about. I thought that the Allied camp was only behind the Germans a tech or two, which they could easily make up by working together. Do you guys just not have the commerce to get any techs? Also, it seems to me that you guys could coordinate an attack to be taken on the same turn, seeing as how you go before me. But like I said, I would have to play the Allied camp to know for certain. And to think before the game even started I didn't see how Germany even stood a chance with the Allies having a huge numbers advantage.

The Battle of Riga

In the early dawn of a cool day in September, German 3'rd and 5'th Army Corps, comprising 8 Panzer divisions, pushed confidently into the outskirts of Riga. They were overconfident, as they have been triumphant in the west and none dared to oppose them for long. They felt the same would be true in the east, where they have pushed foward into Russia many hundreds of miles in some areas with very little resistance. Even more strangely, very little population was left to see them.
The quiet of the morning was shattered with a huge artillery barrage. After many hours of continuous shelling, the dust settled only to reveal wave upon wave of new Russian T-34s almost upon the shell-shocked Nazi tank crews. These enemy tanks were not the "moving coffins" that the unfortunate French and and British troops had at the beginning of the war, but were in most ways superior to tanks the Germans themselves had! In addition, they were crewed by the elite troops recalled from Siberia who have been facing down the Japanese for the last 2 years.
In a few hours it was all over. Not one German was left to tell the tale of the defeat, and there were only a couple of knocked-out Russian tanks on the battlefield.
Russia will not be taken so easily, and the chill in the air foretells of a long winter ahead...

Der Furher is not happy this month. His field commanders did not properly wait for artillery and air support before advancing on Riga. Because of their blumbering mistake, approximately eight panzers were lost on the outskirts of Riga. Needless to say, those field commanders have been sent to Dachau and replaced with new commanders. The new commanders were slow to advance this month due to being new.

Battle report:

Spain:
Lost 1 rifleman
Lost 5 flak
Lost the city of Cadiz
Lost the city of Malaga

England:
Bombed Southampton

Germany:
Lost 1 panzer
Lost 1 bomber
Lost 1 jetfighter

Russia:
Lost 1 infantry
Lost the city of Vitsyebsk
Lost 1 fighter over Sevastopol
Bombed the roads around Sevastopol
Bombed the roads around Vitsyebsk

The rest of Greece (namely, the Island of Crete) has now fallen into Italian hands. The infantry there was eliminated.

We bombed a battleship and destroyer in the central Mediterranean.

Not much else.
