C3C resources with labels & icons

Taé Shala, I observed two small problems with the MesoAmerican Conquest Scenario resource icon sheet:

1) In the icon sheet, salt shows as 2 shield, 2 gold. The editor says it should be 2 food, 2 gold.

2) The scenario uses the furs icon for both furs and guinea pigs. This is a reported bug in the scenario. Furs are a luxury and guinea pigs are a strategic resource. Here lies the conflict, which is naturally outside our control.

In the icon sheet, the icon shows furs as luxury with the smily and the furs properties (1 gold, 1 shield), while guinea pigs have 1 food. To alert users to the double use - until the scenario gets fixed - I would recommend that you give the furs icon both the smily for furs and the "G" for guinea pigs, and leave the property icons out.

OK, fixed.

If there are any other of these minor issues, I'll let yo know, though I doubt I'll find (m)any. :)

And btw, this is the first day I played this scenario. :p

I loved the whale the fish and the birds.
Is it possible for you to make me a version without the labels?
my scen has one resource for each 3tiles or less, if i add labels to that mess no one will see which type of terrain is underneath(sarcastic tone, i don't think that could happen)

without the labels?
BTW i think you should add to your final file, and mine, the resources from viking yeti

:D Oops. There was no mistake Nr.2 in the resources file. There was only a mistake in the editor. You don´t have any Guinea Pigs on the map. So there was no need to fix the graphics of the furs.
So I changed it back. :rotfl:

@Boreas, yeah, why not? I will (after I check with him). Tae Shala, can I include those two resources in a resource file I'm making for Boreas, and then releasing here?

Better release in a new thread. This one already has many links. It is a little confusing and it won´t get better. Feel free to use the resources....

Silly guinea pigs hiding in the bush. :hmm: Thanks for double-checking, though. I still maintain it's a bug in the scenario that the guinea pigs are described in the civilopedia. Apparently someone must have removed them at a later stage. There are various other situations (mainly units in some scenarios) where the same icon is shared between units with different properties.

Thanks, just reinstalled Civ and this was one of the must haves that I forgot I even added to civ until I did reinstall it.

Hey incase you are still interested in helping out suggest packs, wanna make one of these for boring old PTW??

And vanilla too, the resources that are the same are in the same place in both PTW, vanilla & C3C, the only difference is that C3C uses them all, vanilla or PTW only the ones it needs.

Hi, I'm new to this forum. Taé Shala, your resources are awesome :) . In fact I'm using them all, but I noticed that there is missing one set of resources for the Middle Ages Conquest with among others tar, wool, and quarry. So, could you please post them?
