C3C v1.22 patch (standalone) is out!!!

I'm not sure if this is a bug or intended: In one of my games I got very early the information "The Vikings have been destroyed".I don't have contact with them at this time and of course there are not shown in the histograph, as long as I don't them.But shouldn't they appear if the got destroyed, at least at the point I know the whole world, have contact to everyone else and even sail with my ships near their former capital?
 
I currently play C3C 1.15. Could someone please explain to me how corruption changes in 1.22? I saw the readme note about taking away the negative effects of the FP and then the note about "corruption will always be a debate....we hope you like the changes." What do these notes mean in a practical sense, i.e. how should it affect my gameplay?

So what's the deal with v1.22,can i install it even if i have the 1.15 or sould i uninstall the previus one and then install v1.22?

the socalled final patch was announced for end of June, IIRC (somewhere in Tavis' threads).
 
Final patch at the end of june???..but in 2005 they intend on releasing CIV4...

Sorry if I have missed it, but is there a possibility to switch versions? Does this paragraph say, I just need to switch these 3 files to jump from 1.22 to 1.15b back and forth?

But, there is a way for those who like to keep 1.15 rules and saves.

-Backup 1.15 conquests.biq, conquests.mb and civilopedia.txt files
-Install 1.22
-Replace new ones with old 1.15 version

And if the answer is yes, where can I get these 3 files standalone?

My problem is, that I have games running in 1.22 and would like to participate in an 1.15b SG.

Swapping those three files will enable you to play 1.15 saves with the 1.22 executable, but any new files you save will be in the 1.22 format.

So you will still not be able to participate in the 1.15 SG because the 1.15 executable that everyone else is using cannot read 1.22 saves.
 
Sorry for repeating what's already been repeated and answered several times already, but what are the 'problems' with this patch besides not being able to load old (epic) saves?
I'm about to download it, but don't wantto waste my time (56k) if it's going to be dodgey...

I read something about MGL's being able to rush Great wonders?

Well Chieftess told me that all the obvious major bugs had been fixed.

The only things that were dodgey (that she could think of), are; The Submarine bug (which is still there), MGL's can rush Great Wonders now, and the AI doesn't know how to use leaders anymore.

You can avoid the MGL bug, by simply not rushing Great Wonders. So that's not really a problem. The only thing is the AI's ability to use great leaders now :)
Considering I was still using version 1.12, it was well worth the upgrade -- works like a charm :)
