This seems to be Rise of Rome conquest in debug mode.Which modpack is this? I've been mulling over doing something similar with tech tree mods but haven't had the time.

After having changed back in CCM 2.6 the civilopedia entries for needed resources of units and buildings to normal C3C standards, clicking on the resource oil icon is triggering an immediate freeze of the game. So suppressing the message boxes of the hyperlink bug helps in avoiding that bug for a lot of additional links, it is no absolute cure of that bug. The resource oil in CCM 2.6 triggers hundreds of links (I haven´t counted them at all).In all the civilopedia entries of CCM your fix of the hyperlink-bug is working. Therefore at present I think, that I can change the format of the CCM Civilopedia back to normal C3C standards.
i guess it might just make sense for force this behaviour. not allow for freely setting the railroad setting but instead only multiples of rail movement. we have this engine limitation and mod users should not be enticed to acidentally select engine breaking settings.but decrease the RL to 34 and it won't help.
I think, it's necessary to use quotation marks for your building names too, if you are using building names which consists of more than one word, that are separated by space.@Flintlock, I have the following setting in my scenario *.ini file:
building_prereqs_for_units = [
Heavy Bomber Plant: "B-52 Stratofortress" "B-1B Bomber" "Avro Vulcan" "Tu-22M Backfire" "Tu-95 Bear" "Tu-4 Bull" "B-36 Peacemaker" "B-52H Stratofortress" "Tu-16 Badger" "Tu-22 Blinder" "Xian H-6" "Tu-22 Blinder (export)" "B-47 Stratojet",
Angkor Wat: "Khmer Rouge" "Royal Cambodian Infantry",
Naval Station Pensacola: "F-4 USMC" "A-4 USMC" "F-16 USMC"]
Is it correct from the coding point of view considering the names and buildings of units are valid?
Which kind of error message?I will try it. The examples in the file were w/o quotation marks so I did not add these.
Did not work. I an getting an error on loading the scenario.
Was waiting for someone more qualified to step in here, but it's been nearly a day already, sooo...Hello
I’m running Civilization III Complete using Knuckles’ No CD application. Is there a way I can use C3X.exe?
GOG also has an offline installer so you ain't go to play in nobody's Cloud! Was waiting for someone more qualified to step in here, but it's been nearly a day already, sooo...
AFAIK the answer to your question is unfortunately currently (still) no. IIRC, Knuckles' hacked .exe was based on a CD-version(?), but C3X is based on and designed to be applied to the Conquests (NoCD) .exe file supplied with the GOG download. It can also be used to patch the Steam-version .exe, but apparently not any other .exe files that might be floating around out there (this was tested by several of us who had various other legal installations, including other NoCD/ download-only versions).
Both GOG and Steam sell C3C for around 5 LocalCurrencyUnits at normal price, and GOG at least (I don't use Steam) puts it on sale regularly with up to 75% discount. So if you're interested in using C3X, picking up one of those versions shouldn't break the bank...
FWIW, W7 stopped being supported a looooooooooong time ago.bought a new PC just for playing and programming civ. I asked the manufacturer to install windows 7 OS to make it more compatible with older games. The CD installation still didn’t work though. The STEAM and GoG versions also didn’t work. I took the PC to a computer specialist. They changed my OS to windows 10 and tried install the GoG version; nothing.
Sounds awful. I have Windows 7 PC and Win10 laptop, for both GOGs install for Civ3 worked just fine. I even have PC with WinXP (it is now in the basement collecting dust) and GOGs Civ3 worked fine on it as well. Is there any errors with GOG install? I need to check, but I think Civ3 can work even without installations (so you can just try to move the full folder to another PC).Thanks, tjs282
I didn’t have much hope that there was a workaround.
Spoiler Sob Story :
I now have two PCs. The one I use for civ is from around 2004. I intentionally found an old one but it still does what I need; for the most part.

This is the ultra-short version of the story. It took over two months of sending it back and forth before I gave up and put it into storage.
I’m tempted to just buy a computer with it already installed.
