Ain't no thang
C4stNES
First off I have to give the utmost credit and respect to Jason the King, who I basically took these rules from. Knowing Jason, he wont care. I want an easy NES to mod and play in (although I wont be playing) so it makes it fun for all involved.
In this NES, more focus will be on the development of your nation through stories, although orders will still be required. As in JNES, it is recommended that you choose a nation that never existed, or one that has existed that you have never tried before. The goal of this is to make it fun for you.
Try to feel like you are inside of your nation. You wont be mentioned in every update but you will be mentioned every 2, so dont worry.
And now for the very short and easy to understand rules.
Rules
Economy is your basis of your nation. To increase it, you can not increase anything else that turn. The levels are standard stjnes levels: Depression, Recession, Failing, Stable, Growing, Prosperous, Outstanding. You cannot go above outstanding.
Your military is also in levels. To increase one stat, it takes an economy. You can increase as many levels as you want in one turn, barring you have the economy to do so. The levels are standard stjnes levels: None, Tiny, Small, Medium, Large, Very Large, Gigantic, Imperial. For both the army and the navy, training levels will be added. If you want to increase your level of either naval or armed forces training, it will take away the normal one economy level, and a level from the respective military section (ex, increase army training you lose one economy and one level of army). Levels: Farmer, Militia, Good, Veteran, Elite
Your education helps in advancing in ages and how well equipped your army is. To increase it, it takes one economy. Levels are: Terrible, Bad, Illiterate, Literate, Good, Scribe, Scholars.
To make a wonder *one per age per nation* say what it does and I will tell you how long it will take.
Later in the game when I get to know your nation I will assign traits to them, and they will receive substantial bonuses from it.
Moral helps your troops fight better. It is determined by the overall status of your nation. (its up to me). Levels are: Revolting, Bad, Alright, Nationalistic, Patriotic.
All will start at Iron age. I dont care how unrealistic it is, Iron age is where story writing begins.
I doubt anymore rules will be added, but if there is, I will add them below this.
Template:

NOTE: I will add to the history section as the game progresses, dont add anything now, leave the Brief history blank.
Thanks again to JTK for the rules and such
Have Fun!
