I'll be willing to take the position as long as we don't have a navy or it is incredibly small. If the navy is any more than that, I will be handing in my papers and settling for an easier position.

Considering the fact that our navy currently consists of 6 or so outdated ships, I think it is totally reasonable.

If you wish later on, if we expand our navy, you may take command of a small contingent of ships, perhaps a submarine wolfpack or such.

That sounds like a good idea. If the navy gets pretty big, I will only command a small number of ships.
