Yes, I was referring to the "I'm the only one who's ever swung a Renaissance sword, so you guys don't know anything about the historical development of cavalry swords" type of argument. And I probably was applying the term too broadly.

Sorry for such a long hiatus.
My wife and I had a long and complicated move back to good ol' St. Louis, followed up by a week-long trip to visit the in-laws. That was rougher than playing at Sid-level.

I plan on picking up the projects I was working on before, plus I have another one in the works (check avatar for a spoiler) which might be one of my more creative attempts so far. No more hints yet about that one, but hopefully I'll have some more updates for you guys on the other projects soon.

It's actually a tatoo of an eagle with it's wings raised upward. But now that I take another look at it... maybe I can do some more work on it to make it less "Q" like.

Unfortunately I don't have any of my old files. The elves were nearly done, only an animation or two away IIRC, but at this point I'd have to start over from scratch.

That helm is very interesting. It's been a while since I did any WH type stuff, but it does look elvish - but I wouldn't think it's tall enough for High Elves. It actually looks a bit Tau - are we talking WH or WH40K?

WH, not 40k. For the most part I usually stick with the pre-gunpowder units.

Good guesses. Yup this guy is elvish, but not the high kind... more the "eternal guard" kind.
