Can't enable Gods & Kings

This is weird. I played G&K on my laptop last night no problem. Today, I went to play it on my other computer and it launches into Civ V. I try clicking on Gods & Kings under DLC, but once I click "ok" after check marking "enable" nothing happens. It doesn't stay checked.

Anyone know what config file or ini file I can edit to get it to enable G&K?

I don't want to have to delete and reinstall the whole thing.

Hmmm...actually, when I check DLC under Steam, G&K doesn't show up. What the heck?

Maybe I should go straight to uninstall/reinstall.

Have you installed said software on your other machine or are you just trying to play it on your other machine without having installed in therein...

If I remember correctly you will have to activate that computer for using your steam account. I believe you can have multiples for that, and yes you will have to download and install the game on that computer also. Steam is not a cloud service.... so far.

Ah, nevermind. I restarted Steam and it was fine.

I live in the UK, so I just got access to it literally 20 minutes ago via steam. I pre-payed for it about 36 hours ago seeing as how you got a discount. Now, should it install it automatically? Or do I need to do something?

When I go on G+K on steam it says "you already own this game" and next to it there's a button that says "play now" well I've tried clicking this twice, and both times it loaded up Civ. Except it's just regular old vanilla, and no sign of G+K.

Should it have downloaded it by now, or is there sometimes a delay?

Just restart Steam. Then it should start downloading G & K.
