Extreme Nuclear Detonations!
About 100 nukes from old Novayan Russian occupation have exploded in various areas of the world, leaving several toxic areas. It is predicted that these nukes weren't deactivated properly, and several had been buried. Estimates of the dead range wildly, from 1,000 to over 2,000,000, while a lot more will be affected by radioactive materials. On another different note, the aliens have had a similar complication, as several toxic gases have been released into the air. Alien contact was made after an SOS from the alien homeworld was found by Australian satellites.
Joay Gao da under Construction!
Joay Gao da, or 'the tallest' in Chinese is a new skyscraper that, is going to be the tallest skyscraper in the world! It will be a square of 132 by 132 meters, and will have a height of 1027 meters! It has begun construction in Shanghai. Few details have been released, but it shall have extreme saftey measures that will be a world first. It is expected to be completed in 2100. In other Chinese news, China has recently trained 4,000 infantry to respond better in case of terrorist attack! Also, the One Child law has been lifted, and a government charity program has been initiated for those who require it. China's future is looking bright, but there is a hitch...
The Chinese Revolutionaries have attacked! Taking several regions, most notably Hong Kong, it has presented a serious threat to Chinese trade and stability. Confidence has stayed the same, however, due to these new laws.

Britain downsizes Military!
Due to 'no need for a bloated establishment', the British have cut down forces to 1,700,000 and scrapped several tanks, a carrier, and two frigates for metal. This has come as a blessing for the armed forces and the navy, as the people begin to celebrate the return of their family. Due to a problem in Abaddon's spending, only 100 fighters and a new battleship have come from his spending, the fighters from the scrap metal. In other British news, a small battle with terrorists has resulted in the terrorists being killed, with no casualties to the British. Their bodies have not been identified, and are in the process of identification. Soon after, their bodies will be 'disposed of'. Loyalty and Confidence has risen due to this, and speeches made by the Prime Minister. "No terrorist will ever harm His Majesty, the royal family, London, or any part of the United Kingdom without serious consequences"

Miami Liberated by USA!
Miami has been liberated by the USA, and the victory was astounding.
The first stages was the bombing of military bases around Florida. Heavy damage killed about 1/6 of the defenders, while the navy also hammered the Cubans. Next, about 1,000,000 US troops came in and swept away the Cuban resistors. Most of them tried evacuating, only to be sunk by the navy. Confidence in the President has gone up, his approval ratings 89%. In other news, an Eye of God crackdown resulted in several being killed. Apparently, the USA isn't a major target, for most of these were spies. Roads are being improved, and monorails have appeared in several areas.

West African Modernization begins!
It started with the expansion of the Air forces, 10 new fighters were created. Next, an ambitious project, the Maglev train system, has been implemented. It shall provide a link between Lagos and other major cities. This project is estimated to finish around 2102.
Poland unveils new tank!
The new PT-96 Goryl tank has been implemented into the Polish Army. This new tank has increased mobility and automated fire control, and has replaced the regular tanks. However, this tank required more armor, and the old tanks were scrapped for it. As such, there are less Pt-96s than original tanks. However, infantry have been trained automatically for these new tanks. In other Polish news, infrastructure has been upgraded to decrease reaction time of troops, and help lower commute times.

Zera Colonization project initiated!
Colonization fever has swept the nation as Archimonde's speech rallied up the people. However, a partnership with the Blitz Xac has also created controversy. These two nations shall combine efforts, and are loading up their ships with new colonists. The ships have yet to take off, since supplies are scarce. In other alien news, the Blitz Xac have begun a top secret project, but it is known to involve a red substance. The Blitz Xac also begins to harvest all it can from the countryside, boosting the economy temporarily.

Egypt loses Alexandria to UAPF!
Egypt was invaded with a huge UAPF surge, that basically was a blitz. They had swept across Western Egypt, but didn't expect heavy local resistance. Egypt gave out weapons to loyal citizens and have fought off some UAPF soldiers, for now. Tensions rise between the UAP and Israel as a skirmish killed several Israeli border patrols.

Mafia Crackdown!
Italy issued a crackdown on Mafia, particularly in Sicily and Naples. Heavy fighting ensured, and the Mafia seem to have learned better from mistakes.
