A visitor to Arlington National Cemetary was disturbed by a loud noise, apparently jet engines. She looks up and sees a Boeing 747 flying with 4 fighter jets behind it. She shrugs and continued to weep at the loss of her husband during World War 3 between Russia and the US.
A few miles north of Arlington the plane lands at Dulles International, the jets circle two times, splits and head back to base. Tanks and armored vehicals along with armed military men approach the plane, they surround the plane with guns ready and alert. The door opens and out comes none other than the president of the United States, President Mendel. Air Force One has safely landed and returned the president to the war torn capital. The guards escort the president and his staff to the waiting cars and hop onto their tanks and humvees for escort duty. The president's first stop was the White House, he had some stuff to pick up for his wife, he then stopped at the nearest hospital to congratulate his soldiers for defending their homeland with courage and honor. He went to the frontlines, or what appears to be one, to moniter the battle's progress. Most of Washington is back in US hands but Washington suffered greatly in the fight, half of the city is burning, infrastructure is gone as roads suffer artillery shells, tank abuse and bombs. President Mendel sighed, "Good thing I started that project today, I really hope this ends all these tragedies." His Treasury Secretary nodded, "It will Mr. President. It will."
The military convoy returns to Dulles International to see the President off, as Air Force Ones taxies to the runway, 4 new jet fighters arrives and circle the airport 2 times before withdrawing a few miles to the West to give Air Force One clear air for takeoff. The fighters are among the best in the nation, they are aptly named by their Russian counterparts as the Angels of Death. Shooting down an incredible 50 Russian fighters and losing only one of their own during World War 3. Air Force One is in good hands for her trip to the Mid East.
Firefighters from 10 states are in Indiana helping to fight the blaze gripping the state, every one of them have been there for almost 3 months trying to get this fire under control, only getting 45% of the blaze contained. High winds and arid months have done nothing to help, only making matters worst. Air Force One breezes through the thick smoke at 20,000 feet on its approach to Indianapolis International, President Mendel catches his first glimpse of the amount of damage caused by this fire and he could not believe his eyes, it looks as if the whole state was aflame, the United States own 'hell on earth'. As Air Force One lands it is immediatly swarmed by military and police officers who offer him an air tank and mask to keep out the choking effects of the smoke generated by the fire. Paramedics follow the convoy as the President visits firefighters and wish them the best and offer anything the United States can offer to the cause. 50,000 soldiers are fighting the blaze side by side with the firefighters using state of the art technology in firefighting. As President Mendel prepares to leave he is approached by a farmer who is immediatly stopped by Secret Services and police officers with hand on gun. The farmer broke into tears as he told the President, "Sir, I have lost everything, my home, my family, I was forced to watch my family burn trapped in their house with no way in or out. My wheat field is gone, my dogs, my horses gone... all I have left is my truck and even it is dying on me. Please, Mr. President.... you have to help me!" The man collapsed, paramedics immediatly rushed to help him, seconds later one of them came to the President and said, "Mr. President, the man is dead. I guess his heart couldn't take anymore pain and stopped." President Mendel then walked over to the dead farmer and in complete view of TV cameras he put his hand on the farmers chest and said, "Rest in peace my friend, you are now in the Kingdom of Heaven." And wept silently. He then rose and walked over to his advisors and said, "As God is my witness I vow to help these farmers through this even if it means I will have to personally farm these lands myself, these farmers do not deserve this kind of punishments. Curse the Eye of God! What kind of people are they?!" The president then felt weak in the knees and was helped into Air Force One, the police ordered the cameramen to turn off their cameras before they could record the president being helped onto the plane.
Air Force One landed at Chicago's O'hare International, despite repeated warnings from his advisors. With increased security the president promised the citizens that help was on the way. The United States military will retake the city and force Organized Crime back out of the nation. Chicago is not in a bad shape as the othe cities he saw earlier in the day but it is still reeling from the crime wave that swept through. Local law enforcement is struggling to respond to every call made. Seeing the President has lifted their spirits and hearing his comforting words has lifted morale. With the promise of reinforcements the police departments are banding together to create a buffer zone between north and south Chicago. Fortunatly South Chicago has not been touch much yet hopefully the police can maintain some law and order there until the military arrives with heavy firepower.
President Mendel then left Chicago and landed at an obscure location only known by the Angels of Death and Air Force One. President Mendel slowly walked into the military bunker and collapsed on the bed and put his face in his hands and wept again as his wife tried to comfort him.
