Canada is currently neutral, but is currently more friendly with the GUK (Which is now isolationist) and France. (Which obviously isn't) It would choose GUK over France, but the GUK doesn't have a stance with the war.
Russia is currently neutral, but affiliations are currently unknown, due to the fact that communications are mysteriously stalled. It seems the internet and telephone service won't work right now, although this probably isn't sabatoge.

My good friends to the north, I certainly hope you do not plan to aide the vile French in their war. They are beaten and I would hate to see the same thing happen north of us. If you choose to support the French then the United States would have no choice but to declare war against Canada as well. Please for the sake of friendship and humanity, think rationally and do not play favoritism here.

President Harold and General Begay walked into the war room and sat down with several of General Begay's staff.
*Italics is the President speaking, Bold is General Begay, regular is odd people speaking*
"What is our status, General?" Asked the president.
"The first wave left several days ago and should arrive at their destination soon. The next wave should follow suit any time now. We have many men to send and very little time to do it." General Begay responded.
"And what is our relationships with the nations currently in the war?"
"Germany is glad to see us and is willing to work with us, Italy is dancing in the streets singing "The Americans are Marching In. The CA is indifferent, they welcome us but do not really mind if we are there or not. Canada is threatening to join the French, but our State Department is keeping them out of the conflict for now, but who knows how long this will last. Brazil and South America are potential hotspots for this war and it would be best if we kept our eye on it." Lt Hawkins said.
"Mr. President I would suggest posting an unit in Brazil, obviously only Brazil and us will know about this unit to avoid any claims of self defence by French supporters in South America. This unit will be a part of Brazils armed forces but will remain under American command."
"I visited Brazil on vacation once, nice people down there. Very friendly to the Americans. Very well send the unit and work closely with the Brazilian Government to avoid a full scale war in South America."
"Yes sir Mr President, Lt Hawkins get on it."
"Now tell me about the plan to defeat France."
