Righto, some more slight rule changes announcements, that will be put into effect this turn, as well as a status update.
UPDATE: Sorry for the long delay, had some school stuff and replaying Starcraft. Will finish by Saturday, promise.
RULE CHANGES:
1. Large capital ships will now be damaged rather than sunk in most cases, and this will be marked in stats. Thus, this will affect their performance. You may repair it by taking it out of action for one or two turns, depending on which I see suitable. Lighter ships like submarines wolfpacks will most likely be sunk, although I may have damage for them as well.
2. Divisions will be split into brigades, which will make the casualties less severe and realistic. This will require a major economic rule change, in which 1 IC will equal 1 infantry brigade. The infantry division will have 3 brigades, thus your infantry forces shall triple. Also note that motorized infantry divisions will also be split up into their own brigades. Armored divisions will change into 1 infantry brigade, and 2 armored brigades. Artillery is to be downgraded into regiment size.
3. To facilitate number 2, the economy will be multiplied by 3, and so will costs of technology. This should not only help with the realism of the game, but will allow you to branch out with your 3 sectors of economy, the military, public, and investment IC.
4. Global Opinion to be phased out for lack of use.
5. Streamlining and removing restrictions on some rules. YOU WILL NOW BE ALLOWED TO USE ALL IC ON TECHNOLOGY AND BE ABLE TO BANK ALL YOUR IC. Please note that this may cause dire consequences, which will be explained in further detail in the new ruleset.
Hopefully, these changes will make the game a bit more fun, and allow endless carnage.
