CarmenNES03: Kaiserreich

To the World
From the Kingdom of Spain

Although we are not a party to this dispute as of yet, we feel that we should ask that any peace treaty between the Commune of France and Sicily and the Italian Federation should also include a cause ensuring that the Syndaclist nations cease their interference with the sovereignty of Spain.

Commune France would agree to sign NAP's with the major bordering countries. Germany, Italy, Spain and Britain if the peace treaty is accepted

Will you also cease any and all assistance to the Syndacalist mobs who threaten Spanish security.

I have never even started to assist them. But I promise I wont if the Peace treaty is signed

To Commune of France
From KIngdom of Spain

Under those terms we would sign the NAP with you either way, take note, we have not declared war upon you so thus no peace treaty is required.

To: Italian Federation, All concerned
From: Sicily

We demand that Sicily keeps the region of Anzio which has been recently captured with the support of the local populace.

The Italian Question

The Government of the United States will restore normal relations with France and Sicily if and only if full territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Federation of Italy is restored.

We extend full and unconditional support to the Federation of Italy and other countries that are acting in this conflict on behalf of the Federation of Italy.

Spain would like to suggest a plebescite be held in Anzio as to the question, however also suggests that a neutral third party, for example the United States oversees this vote to ensure that it is without corruption.

To: Italian Federation and all concerned
From Commune France

Here is the Official Peace treaty.
Commune of France gets,
-Grenoble, Nice, Corsica (all of which were french previously in this century)
Sicily gets
- Anzio
Commune of France signs NAP with Britain, Spain, Germany and Italian Federation (if you want it)
-Commune of France will promise not to support any Syndacalist movements In Spain

The United States cannot be trusted to ensure that the plebescite is fair. The United States has stated on many occasions that it is for restoring the Italian Federations borders as they were previously.

Peace Treaty

The United States will accept any peace treaty agreed to by the Italian Federation. However, it is our belief that the treaty is anything but fair and should the Italian Federation reject it they will continue to have our full support.

Spain would like to see plebescites being held in any territory to see if it wishes to remain with the Italians or begin a new association with a Syndaclist nation.

From: Pope Pius XI

I spit in disgust at this so-called "peace" treaty. It is little more than a blatant territory grab, an attempt by the Syndicalists to get what they desire without consequences.

I will except no peace treaty that does not restore our full territorial integrity and requires the International Commune to pay reparations for the destruction they have visited upon God's representatives upon this Earth.

Moreover, I will accept no plebiscites held that are not overseen by the Catholic Church, as it is the only institution guided by the hand of God upon this Earth, and only its results will be truly valid and righteous.

More practically, to allow the conquerors the right to allow the people to "decide" for themselves is purely lunacy.

I appreciate your continued support of the Italian Federation and, through myself, the Christian faith in its time of need. I hope to one day amply repay you for your assistance, but for now all I can do is include you in my prayers to the Almighty God.

To: Commune France, Sicily
From: Pope Pius XI

The servants of the devil have no place in the Christian faith. I do hereby formally excommunicate you.

To: Pope Pius XI
From: Japan

Naturally, however we should let the Italian Federation be aware that our actions are not necessarily done in favor of Italy but against Syndicalism. So long as Italy is opposed to the Syndicalists Japan will support her. We think that brotherhood transcends religion when it comes to being united against the Syndicalist threat - to be truthful we care little for the Christian faith, but if it is saved through side-effect of our actions then so be it.

From: Russia

Nope. I believe Sardinia-Piedmont, who unified Italy, had Nice and Savoy.

Also, stop this war. Or else the Many Divisions of the Russian Empire will descend upon Syndicalism.

This will not just end up being a war between France Sicily and Austria, you will end up being at war against all the Syndicalist.

We can take you all out at once? HOT DAMN!

From the German Reich
To the International Community

Germany will not accept any territorial gains by France or Sicily. We, however, will rule out reparations if they withdraw now.

Japan seconds the German proposal, and adds that the Syndicalist nations may face certain... sanctions if this problem is not resolved hastily.

United States is pleased to see the international community standing united in support of the Italian Federation.

The Italian Federation will accept a lack of reparations if the withdrawal is immediate.
