I think one trait enables you to upgrade even if your unit is outside of your own territory.
Correct, it's a trait.

Its the "Progressist" trait, and the "Post Labor" civic. I guess the reasoning behind the civic having it, is because with robots producing so much stuff, your able to equip your troops with the "new stuff" anywhere in the world!Correct, it's a trait.

If I wanted to, is there a way to disable the Star Signs mod?

Is there a way to turn off Brentalfloss' music in the loading screen? Preferably so I can default back to the original?![]()
- I updated the svn just today and now my previous game that I had I started yesterday has a CTD before I can even select yes to recalculate. I also updated yesterday with no issues, unlike today. I don't want to have to start another new game. I never had this problem before with a game save ctd so I updated the svn. I am playing hotseat in a team game with my wife.
- And yesterday I noticed the tribal settler does not appear for anyone. After the sapien settler units expire you cant get a tribesman settler unit. Have to wait all the way to the next one sedentary lifestyle before settling. Now no one can settle until this tech is reached for a standard settler.
- The first seat in a hotseat game is broken. Now I have to make a fake civ take the first seat so I delete the units and thus not be forced to use hot seat 1. I have to do this so that we can play using the auto update and promote for units. Those options will not work for seat one ever. This issue came up this year in spring and has had no resolution.
Where is the post for the multiplayer stuff and bugs. I had a thread earlier but it seemed to have stopped so not sure where the new thread is
Not sure how this was repaired, perhaps because you're not using 'seat one' at this point, but from what I understand, the fact that it was showing up as buildable for any player in a multi-player game is/was a bug in the first place. I've long been curious why this is taking place but I haven't had the priority enough on it to look into it. If you play on a single player game you'll see it's not available - never should've been. It's just a unit you get at the beginning of the game, not one you should be able to build I believe.- And yesterday I noticed the tribal settler does not appear for anyone. Have you set your 32bit XP to use 3GB via the 3GB switch? If not you need to do that. I think a link for the instructions is buried somewhere in the How To thread
There are known issues with the steam version, I think.
What usually helps is a start-from-the scratch new install as sometimes files you edited might have been messed up.
Is your original BTS in english as well?
I don't use steam.
Just did that, no effect.
Yes.
Tried that but it only makes the game crash (video meomory allocation) even without C2C.
There's a couple ways to establish the switch. Do you have a laptop by chance?
