Caveman 2 Cosmos

Look at my attached, first click on here< then 2nd here>> Then select which one you want.
The first one looks good... but it leads straight to the second one when I tried it... and when I click own the download rss thing it takes me to a page of code that I have no clue what to do with.

:stupid: ...talking about myself here...

DO NOT use Desura, that thing is crap it should be removed from their website, it doesn't work with hardly anything.

It installs like any other mod in Beyond the sword Mod folder, make it auto load is the best option from a shortcut. I have it on steam and when I click play it loads C2C since it is the only Mod I play when playing Civ 4 :D Good luck!

Click the link in my signature takes you directly to the download, no fuss no hassle! ;)
That wants me to install raptr... is that what you want?

:stupid: ...talking about myself here...

Ah never mind I think I got it!:crazyeye::D

hopefully

Actually same thing happens: I click on load a mod, then Caveman2Cosmos, and the game closes like it's gonna load, but then nothing happens... I clicked the red download button, unzipped it, and moved it to the mods folder and everything... wait is it for BTS?

Ding, ding ding!

Well yeah I put it in the BTS folder... I was just making sure
It's too bad... I know nothing about computers.

I don´t se the beta in the thread at http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=429816
Only downloading link I saw was for tortoiseSVN and i gues thats not for playing but for moding the beta v.34.

But if you are as stupid as me you just have to wait ;)

Saw the torrent for v.33, getting it just for the uploading purposes, looking forward to v.34.

It's not for modding, it's for sharing files.
Just follow the instructions on the first post of this page:
http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=429816

Basically, it does the following:
You install tortoise.
You set up a folder called "Caveman2Cosmos" or something like this.
Then you rightclick this folder seleckting SVN checkout (as discribed on the post I linked).
Then the the Folder stars downloading Caveman 2 Cosmos. After this you need to rightclick it and select "Update SVN". Every time you do this, it changes files, deletes some or adds some so your folder will be at the very latest and most recent Revision. This is now what the beta version would be. Later, when V34 is released, you don't need to download the whole V34 (or later 35, 36...), just "SVN Update" your folder then ;)
To play it, you need to copy/paste the folder at the correct place (BtS/mods...) of course.

Whoops wrong thread

Have you updated to BtS v3.19? You can't do it via the in game updater as it does not work even though it says it does. You need to download the patch see here and run it yourself.

Just a request for anyone

If you manage to get one of the Grand Festivals at Celebration (Grand Fire Festival, Grand Marine Festival, Grand Earth Festival, or Grand Sky Festival) can you take a screenshot of the Wonder Movie/Art and post it here. Thanks in advance.

Both the marine and sky work well. I forgot to take a screen dump sorry.

Who is in the C2C Team and what "departments" do they work on? I know StategyOnly is the lader.

We all take on a number of roles really. Largely if we have a desired project we make sure on the forum that it's not stepping on anyone else's toes but we're all idea manufacturers and implementers for the most part and while we've tried to stay within particular realms there's certainly going to be overlap.

For example, DH states he's got religions and animals but I've overlapped on both a little. I think it's just mostly important that we stay respectful of each other in the extreme.

I'm the developer of Divine Prophets, Developing Leaders, and the C2C Combat Mod. Those are my primary projects but I try to fill in some team project support and some debugging when I'm able to.

Game is running smoothly and fast so I am happy. quite stable so far in last SVN.

A while back, mid 2013, I had to stop playing Caveman 2 Cosmos because I just couldn't take how quickly it got laggy for me. Does the current version have less lag, or should I start focusing on upgrading my crappy 4 gigabytes of ram?

Sorry, I feel pretty rude for asking. I just have a rather small cap on my internet, and C2C is a huge mod, both in content and megabytes.
