CCTP Rebuild

first time it crashed at turn 146, enabled logging then and restarted the game. It then crashed at turn 151. It happens while processing turn.

It is the build you posted in the first post. I don't use the dll versions
 
I've taken a look at the lua log and i believe the emigration script is causing an issue.
[37330.852] Runtime Error: C:\Users\Hutch\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS\Community Call To Power Rebuild (v 1)\CCTP\Events\CCTPEventManager.lua:21: attempt to call global 'Emigration' (a nil value)

I will see if clearing the cache and moduserdata will fix it.

Yes, I've seen that error. I think it's because the eventmanager is an older script and I got an update for emigration from Killmeplease. I think both the emigration and tree growth would run fune w/o it, but haven't tested it yet as was working on other things.

There's also an error in the lua with a line in the emigration ScriptDataUtils with chunk has too many syntax levels, but ingame it seems to work.

On a side note, every once in while I would have a random crash and finally tracked it down. It was actually do to some lines in the vanilla TechPopup.lua. I'm working on a replacement and hope to post soon.

I hate to be this one,
but anyway all CCTP lua files are constructed before BNW (my files not included)
So changing things will create some bugs, thats one of the reason if starved.


For my current work i doubt i will put a new working version soon online.
So maybe a pullover (hate english speak) pitch

may help here.
 
In the tech tree (not playing in rebuild but not mentioned in rebuild changes) some techs are literally underneath others, I believe vassalage is one of these, but I'm not sure, I believe Artemis covers it (if that's the tech I haven't played for awhile) and I like choosing research through the tech tree rather than the side selection
 
How do I install the fixes? do I drag them into the rebuild file because it says winrar can only add files to zip or rar files, changing the extension doesn't work

Which fixes for you mean? the fixes for the original file replace the files in the community call to power mod folder. If you can't extract them there, just open rar and drag them. The rebuild should be extracted/drug to mod folder. If you mean the rebuild fixes, you shouldn't need if you downloaded recently as they are already applied.
As far as tech tree, I haven't done anything w/ placement in tree as i wasn't sure if Gilga had then placed for a specific reason for future update.

Maybe you can talk to Gilga about it? Also I made a mistake, Athena covers Vassalage. Also, I found a txt error, there is an archer upgrade that seems to be called something like (maybe not exactly) TXT_KEY_CITY_DEFENSE or something like that

I do know there is a somewhat involved process to get mods to work on Mac, and it only appears to work for the Steam version and not the appstore civ complete. Don't know if you've already tried it, but there's a thread with instructions here:

Since i dont work with MACs, my knowledge about them is very limited.
But iirc there are some workarounds for Mac, like the link posted above.

I know how to install mac mods for Steam, but when I start up a world with this mod it crashes the game
