CCTP Rebuild

Ok i started a new game to see whats wrong, and all works fine no malus with this policy.
Are you sure that there wasnt another action, like you captured a city or build some wonder?

No, did nothing for a few dozen of rounds, besides building extra roads for ai countries, so
they can cope better with the one unit per tile rule. Btw., is it possible to mod two seperate unit per tile rules? Like, you can always move your unit in stacks, except when close to the enemy. That would really help the ai with warfare (where it is now, thanks to the 1upt rule, "underperforming":lol:).
Anyone still remember the multi unit stack attacks (like 100...) of civ 3 fame?
You could have a smoke AND take out the garbage in that time. Sweet memories.

Just download and activate it after CCTP.
Since i dont think i will change the stacking in CCTP at the moment.

I cant find any reason why the happiness would drop.
Maybe you lost the control about a city state or something similar...

Just a note:
In CCTP some units (like worker or the atombomb) create also unhappiness.
 
Thank you, will try. How does combat work with that mod? Like in civ 3?
In my game there are no more city states, and the hapiness drops by 40
in the moment i activate that tenet. But it´s no deal, i just wanted to inform.
I´m industrial ´now and so far haven´t encountered any gamebreakers, but lots of fun.

2UPT mod crashes the game right after the mod activation screen.
Musicians don´t let me perform great arts anymore, even if i´m sitting atop a city with empty slots. They don´t have specific names anymore as well. Great writers and artists still work as intended.

I have used the 5 units per tile, and have never had a crash.

BTW, combat with multi unit per tile is not like stacks in older civs, the units still act one at a time.

Another one:
"Ecologic research" of the rationalism tree has reduced my happiness by 56.

I checked files and couldn't find anything, and started game. Neither order trade nor ecologic research lowered my happiness.

Could you possibly post your logs so we could have a look. Maybe something is conflicting, or something else causing it.
 
I didn't see anything that would cause problems you're having. Just to make sure, did you clear your cache and moduserdata before you started game?

No. Being a fresh install, the moduserdata was empty and the cache only contained the localisation files from installing. Should i´ve cleaned nevertheless? :hmm:

This wouldnt make a difference.
The only error in the lua log is the same that you reported before.

Since i cant reproduce any of the reported bugs and cant say why this happened, iam out of clue now.
You could send a savefile and some of us could try to load it and see if we get the same bug.
 
Ok. I hope it´s worth all the hassle for you guys. I don´t want to be the one who keeps you distracting from working at the mod, not to mention real life. :D

I'll load it up and give it a try. Will let you know what I find.

Edit: I can confirm it seems to be subtracting the happiness instead of adding. I'll get with Gilga about it and see what we can do. Also, when you tried the multi unit/tile mods was it with a saved game? Often times when adding mods that change game mechanics you need ot start a new game or it will crash.

Two times it crashed me right after the mod activation screen, one time while trying to
load a save. I will use one of the two mods with my next game, after your new version is done. Which one makes the ai better as a competition, 2upt or 5 upt?

Btw., can you confirm the error with the spy assignment and the musician?
 
There is an error in the log related to the vanilla espionage popup. I haven't found reason yet(honestly haven't had opportunity to look deep yet).

I think the happiness issue may be related to the cctp map manager. I included the custom setup because when I first did rebuild I had a couple pms asking about it, however, it was developed for G&K and I don't think anything was updated for BNW.

I was only able to recreate problem when starting new game with custom setup. I would recommend using vanilla setup on next game.

The spy and musician bug may also be related to custom setup.

Implenting some of the broken files again, can create bugs that iam not aware of, like the happiness bug.

But hey its good for me, so i know that is causing this, so we can just disable this part and can go on.

Yeah thats of course a big problem, but i also never encounter it so far.

We need to remove the map manager, its funny what kind of bugs thinks like that can produce.

Ok, i understand the problem with the map manager, and i wont touch that thing anymore with pincers. But not to use the custom setup would be a pity.
How about custom created maps with preplaced civs, will they work?

Edit: Disregard, i mixed custom setup with advanced setup.
