CCTP Working Version Progress

Hey and welcome to the forum:band:[party], sorry to hear freakshare is down.
At the moment iirc this is the only place for 4.02, still working on 4.03.
So i will not upload 4.02 yet, sorry.

I really want to return playing CIV 5 , but the standard version feels so simple after seeing Call To Power.
But as I know the current status of our dear mod is so buggy, I hesitate to start. :*(

thats right very busy since iam working in a new company my time is very restricted.
Not to mention that i doesnt get time to play this game for weeks.
But the biggest problem is that my PC has lost very important Modbuddy saves.
So i have to spend hours of work into something i already done, and this is very frustrating.

btw for the ai problems please move the folder 4.02/CommunitycallToPower/CCTP/Ai out of the folder.
Keep care of it and tell me please if the ai strategic is going bettter:crazyeye:

If this doesnt help remove the Handicap folder from the game.
Save it or what ever you like, and when you played and tested it send me the log files,

This would help me a lot thanks....
 
It looks like i can get the ai more playable then on 4.02.
But i didnt get the time to play a full test game.
So i will push all work to a beta version and after realeasing it and of course with fires help, we could react some cool old CCTP functions.
 
AI is much better when we don't use your AI folder , but still sucks, I will send a new game's log soon.

Gilga ,

I think you should remove finding Settlers and improving weapons from Ruins.
They are way overpowered . In your game you can't build Spearman for a LOOOOONG time , but the ruins let you find them ( warrior then by improving their weapons ) .

Same for settlers , it takes long time to build and even a technology, but ruins give you for free and multiple..


What you guys think should it be changed for 4.03, or should i only link to the file who needs little changes , so anyone can do it by its own?
 
Good news:run:

Iam running my first test game of 4.03 Beta....
it looks like the Ai problem is gone. Iam playing decimatus/marathon/Huge and well 10 of 11 AI are better then me.
Lol the first 4 Civs has 3X more points then me.
When all is running good, there will be a public testing version before saturday.
 
any alternative download site? Link is sending me to a freakshare site that when i press downlad sends me to another page saying bad try. then i have to wait 30 minutes to try again and get the same thing.

Sounds bad, i will look that 4.03 get a better download place.

Until then i dont plan to upload 4.02 again, since 4.03 will be ready in less then 24 hours;)

Edit: I decided to give Dropbox a chance, i will upload it in the next 2 hours.
Like i said before this will be a public beta testing version.
So it may contain bugs, that iam not aware at the moment, please be patient:=)
A full overworked version will be released soon, if no big problems will be encountered.
