CCTP Working Version Progress

From the logs i would guess its a problem with another mod that adds units to the game.

Since we drop the complete unit class table and insert all CCTP units, this can create a ctd, when ingame any civ would get this units, and the class is missing.

There is nothing that i can do, unless to say when you start a game with CCTP, make sure that this mod is loaded first, otherwise this problem appairs.

*You should remove all of this improvements mods, we use every improvement in CCTP that was released for vanilla CiV.
*Barbarians-Unlimited EXP is not needed we have similar XP settings.
*Buildings Upgrade System i wouldnt suggest this one because we use other cost formula in CCTP.
*Diplomacy-Warmonger Debuff if you load this mod before CCTP, its just useless.
*Lake Victoria Fix the same like Diplomacy-Warmonger Debuff.
*Less Warmonger Hate the same like Diplomacy-Warmonger Debuff.
*Quick Turns dont know this.
*RED Modpack/Hotfix/Xtreme could be incompatible.
*Religion- No AI Free Pottery not needed.
*Separate Great People Counters not needed.

This unit is not from the CCTP mod!

So you see there are a lot of reasons why there can be a imcompatibility and or crashes.
 
*You should remove all of this improvements mods, we use every improvement in CCTP that was released for vanilla CiV.

So you see there are a lot of reasons why there can be a imcompatibility and or crashes.
Yeah I knew that some mods weren't needed, like the no pottery, it was just to late to remove them mid-game, Quick Turns basically toggles quick combat/movement during AI turns to speed things up. Does CCTP already fix Lake Victoria? And the two warmonger debuff mods do do different things, one increases the amount of warmonger points needed to be considered a warmonger, the other decreases the amount of warmonger points you get through war actions. All the others, good to know! EDIT: Oh nvm, I get it, you mean Lake Victoria fix and the other debuff mod will also load as useless. K

Also RED seems to be compatible, it's just that units it doesn't support appear at their default size, while the others are smaller and look different. I haven't seen any problems with it in the past.
 
After hours and hours of coding, i see a light in the dark.

Sadly i needed a little ammount of time to remove a nasty selfmade bug, but anyway iam near to finish my work for the next update.

When there will be no more issue i guess i can upload my version in the next days to Gyogen and then i needs to include his work.

Hopefully we will see the next update of CCTP before Xmas.
 
Is it just me or is there no more link to a current version?
In the edit of the first post you say that there is a link somewhere but where?

If you mean the one in your sig it links to the old thread which has a 2 month old version?
Or is that the most current one?
And is the version currently around be able to played without the latest patch since for me the latest patch breaks a ton of mods i am playing and i would like to spare myself the updating if i can avoid it (which i do not yet know if its even possible to be honest).

I would like to know that before i proceed diving back into CCTP.
 
Ok I will wait for that release then until I test again.
Is the latest patch mandatory or is the mod still working without it?

The hotfix is needed to play CCTP!

Also the patch brokes a resource file in CCTP, means ie Manpower is broken...

Well, Gilgamesch, didn't indicated precisely the year of mentioned Xmass ;]

It should be this year, but i was on a unplanned travel the last days.

Gyogen got the last updated version, this version should be fully playable until the industrial era, then some parts are not finished/balanced.

But this doesnt mean its not playable, only some minor parts are missing, didnt get the time to finish them yet.

This will be fixed in the next time, after 100er of hours of coding i need a break and some time not thinking about CCTP.
 
I'm running CCTP on my new computer!!!!
Question. The technology names have certain civ icons included in them. This looks neat and spiffy when in the game overlay, but when browsing the actual tech tree, the icons just terminate the name string so instead of seeing something like

Language (:c5science: )
I see just
Language (

It's a pain. Is this a known bug or is there a fix?
 
My game starts crashing around turn 175 and ten crashes every 5-10 from then on, might i find some assistance? if i need to provide something just let me know what and how to get to it.

Some details:
The next turn starts loading then my screen goes black, then i'm back to my desktop.
I've cleared my cache before in stalling cctp 4.05.

Some specs:
AMD Athlon II X4 640 Processor
8.00 GB RM
750gb storage 10% empty
Windows 7 64 bit

Help please
