CDZ chat

They play there game like a succession game of sorts. I actually like their loose way of playing.

Had I known about there team before I joined CFC I would have joined them instead :mischief:

Hey, I just realised I'm gonna meet some of them this weekend.

I've send this MSG to CDZ:

Hi Kemal,

How does a CDZ-CFC chat on Saturday Nov 20th around 20:00 / 21:00 CET (= 19:00 / 20:00 GMT) sound ?
Some CDZ-people are then together at Stapel's in The Hague (including CFC-minister Matrix).

That way CDZ can discuss proposals quicker amongst themselves, while Matrix is available for clarifications.

Many CFC-members have shown interest in joining the first official chat. So I yhink it will best be held on IRC instead of MSN. Details will follow.

Regards,
Rik
sorry for the typo's

Gentlemen, Foreign Minister, Ambassador to the Wabbitian Legacy

I have this humble request. If the Anarco-Syndicalist Wabbits want to help us destroy Josef Mengeles corrupted boys from Brazil, and we are to give them a treaty port for 5 turns to heal ther boats, why not make a smarter and more elaborate contract.

These two Wabbittian Galleys are to map our continent in detail, which is their plan. I assume these galleys are empty, and that these galleys are redundant when our coasts are explored, with no utility but war and transportation. What if we allowed the treaty port to generate four rushed Wabittian troops to fil those two galley, trade world maps to save time, and allow them to be part of the naval coalition going through Fortaleza, allowing the Wabbittian Expeditionary Force to take Recife as a token of friendship, in our concerted strike on the East Coast. This will place the Brazucan Southeast in our firm control, and the Immortals going for Khazad Dum would have less opportunity to fall back, as both Fanatica and Wabittia has taken their rear.

Remember, all we want, Wabbittia included, is to push out the insidious and proven corrupted Brazucans out of the league, and assure all the three just teams a part of the finals. Offering wabittia a part of our Eastern Naval Strike with 4 troop builds in teh treaty port will allow that, and accelerate that process. I also think it will be in the spirit of the MS Demogame to develop such a meaningful, creative and fair treaty, and to mete out poetic justice to these Southern Hemisphere (Northern here) perpetrators.

Besides, I want Fortaleza to be called Jokergate, and I want to hear if you approve of the updated and revised strike plan for Rio.

Yours sincerely
Provolution

Response from CDZ:

Hi Rik,

unfortunately , we do not think holding a diplo-chat online with persons from both teams in the same room would be a good idea, so therefore we'd like to either postpone the chat a bit, to make sure all who want to do so can attend, or to exclude those at the Lan-party in The Hague from taking part.

Also, some of our members have disastrous experiences with IRC, and so we really have a strong preference towards using MSN for this.

<snip - private message on how to communicate>

Regards,

Kemal, on behalf of the CDZ-Team

Then; Shall I suggest sunday evening; around 21:00 GMT (=22:00 CET = 16:00 (4pm) New York time = 13:00 (1pm) L.A. time) ??

Edit: corrected the New York Time and added L.A. time as well.

You do not need MSN per se, you just need to get invited, I can do that if you send me your email..., mine should be posted.

Seems great. If Rik can initiate the chat in MSN, may be it will be possible to "invite" as many people as will be willing to sign up. Just a note though: It is better to sign up in advance since we don't want somebody who is not invited to join the chat. Splitting the chat into many separate talks is not a good idea IMHO but whatever CDZ will agree to.

I would really prefere an IRC meeting, as some people tend to have ridiculus long chat names in msn, and whenever someone talks the view in the chatwindow is moved to the bottom, making it impossible to read back a bit if you missed something.
But if they insist, I'll manage.

It's fine with me. Pity though, I would've liked to have a real diplomatic meeting...

@Cheetah: Just tell 'em they should shorten it. :p And if you maximize the chat window it'll almost be like an IRC chat. ;)

i'd rather we use the chat function on cfc myself....

I'm using trillian for all chat media. Can use it for irc as well. It is a great interface, nothing moves nowhere and you can chat it msn, yahoo, icq, and irc all at the same time. It is freeware btw.

Trillian is better than IRC and MSN. :p

You guys could do a real life diplomatic meeting, as long as you keep a log.

I've sent this email to CDZ:

Hello CDZ-team

We, the people of CFC, would like to meet you in a chat.
Kemal has informed me that CDZ prefers MSN over IRC. We prefer IRC over MSN, but MSN it will be.

Our proposal is to hold it on Sunday Novemeber 21st 22:00 CET ( = 21:00 GMT = 16:00 (4pm) New York time = 13:00 (1pm) L.A. time).
Is this ok for you ?

Regards,
Rik Meleet
