Gonna start in two days or so. I invited PeterGrimes. If anyone else wants to join please let me know ASAP. I will send you PM's to all participants before we start. Once the tourney begins you have 7 days to complete you move from when your opponent moves. If there are six players you'll be playing five simultaneous games.

I sent this to Narz at another site, then remembered you had a tournament here. For what it may be worth as an oddity.

You are familiar with a fools mate. 1. f3 e5 2. g4 Qh4#. This is a blitz game that produced the same pawn structure, with similar results.

1. g3 d5 2. d4 b6 3. Bg2 Nc6 4. Nf3 Bg4 5. Ne5 Be6 6. O-O f6 7. Nd3 g5 8.
c4 Nxd4 9. e3 Nc6 10. cxd5 Bf5 11. e4 Bxe4 12. Bxe4 Na5 13. Qh5+ Kd7 14.
Bf5+ Kd6 15. Nc3 Nh6 16. Nb5+ Kxd5 17. Qf3+ Kc4 18. Na3+ Kd4 19. Be3#

Don't ask me who. This is at least 3rd hand. The ending position is too prosaic. I doubt it was actually played to mate, but who knows?
