I want to yank the right Chaos III save to fix the all war + all peace setting. Was Ruff's 8/01 report really the last one played, or did I miss one. Sorry, I've been out for a while.

Hmm, what to say? Well I played up to 550bc coz that seemed a half rounded number. Various things happened.
Obviously I renamed our cities as Genesis and Exodus. Our Indian friend leapt straight to Revelation ("I love the smell of plutonium in the morning" he told his biographer, "to me it smells of victory") but all of this went straight over our head.
Sundry barbarians appeared mainly waving axes before waving goodbye. The Dumb Kid survived an axe-wielding maniac (honest). One of our skirmishers defended Genesis' frozen fish, she is now known as Fishermen's Friend.
I decided to team up with the Sage coz I was feeling lonely (Confucius says (well, said) "Ignorance is the night of mind, a night without moon or star"). Gandhi showed a different aspect to his nature by giving us Calendar gratis. We then had a chat with Bismark and got Monarchy in exchange for CoL (old king CoL?). Later the Ginger Kat traded us construction for currency; shame we don't have any gold to throw around.
Apart from that a few more skirmishers overflowing into settlers. Deuteronomy and Leviticus have already been mapped out for them.
That's really about it from the Empire of Suckiness.

550BC- Wow, aside from a terrible capital this is not a bad situation. We are bit lite on Military, but that can be remedied.

I like the city names the religous fanatic(?) put in, forgot to put in a place for Numbers, went right from Leviticus to Deuteronomy . I really have to at the religious fanatic, but will keep the research to Theology, there just is not a lot better to be researching as we are already at 100% research.

430BC-Found Leviticus. I would recommend founding Deuteronomy before Numbers, even though that is not the Bibilical order, oh well, only the religious fanatic will complain.


We miss Christianity, Bismarck got, oh well. The game is progressing well actually. The capital being so terrible increased the difficulty level, which is nice. Good Luck to the next player.

Turn 0 - Took a look and around and look what I found .... a fallout tile and a barb city.
Turn 1 - Exodus finished axeman, starts another. Moved axeman to leviticus cuz ghandi's got an axe+sword pair at our border.
Turn 4 - Moved a skirmisher from Genesis to replace the skirmisher on the iron, whom I moved to leviticus. Switched leviticus to skirm since ghandi has added a chariot to his stack.
Turn 5 - Ghandi moves in ... but did not declare. Maybe he's only trying to get to the barb city, but it's better to be safe than sorry. Genesis finishes settler, starts another. Settler will wait for skirmisher escort before moving anywhere.
Turn 6 - What happened to all our workers? We only have one, I'll have Exodus build a couple more axes before letting it build me a couple of workers. We could get Oracle in 20 turns at Exodus, but I let it be since we need defense more atm.
Turn 7 - Settler+Skirmisher pair heads to deuteronomy site.
Turn 8 - We have Theology, but did not switch to Theocracy cuz we ain't got no religion. What the heck are we aiming for tech-wise anyway? With no real objective I decided to go for Civil Service just because....
Turn 9 - I decided to tag an axe along with Ghandi to the barb site ... maybe we can steal it from under his nose after he weakens them with his stack
Turn 10 - Oh ya, and this little sword barb bastard showed up at leviticus doorway. I decided to let him attack since he's in a forest and we've got 71% odds in our favor, but I've had enough bad experiences with that odd to try and attack him.

And that concludes my reign of confusion.
