Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper?!?!

Omg! I just drank one of those Cherry Vanilla Dr. Peppers for the first time, and I have 3 things/questions to say/ask:

1) I thought that Dr. Pepper was already supposed to be cherry flavored so isn't calling it 'Cherry Vanilla' ambiguous?

2) That was the worst softdrink I have ever tasted. It leaves a wierd after-taste.

3) I didn't detect a single hint of vanilla in the drink at all!

What do you think?

I love cherry vanilla Dr. Pepper. o.o It tastes quite good, and I can find both the added flavors quite easily. They mix well to my tastes. ^_^ Perhaps I'm simply strange, as I also quite liked Pepsi Blue...
