Been away from heavy modding for a while, and I forgot what I had set up for my AIAutoPlay shortcut. I had it as CTRL+SHIFT+Z, and instead I hit CTRL+ALT+Z and wound up changing players!
This led me to jamming random key combinations to see what else I could do, mostly to see if I could switch back to player 0, since the C/A/Z seems to stop working once you hit the last player slot.
One gem I found was CTRL+ALT+D, this opens up the Debug Menu. In here are priceless items such as an option that reveals all tree-cut spheres (AMAZING! Could have used this when figuring out how to get forests to show better), and along the same lines, something that seems to show a dot at every tree (or potential tree) vertex. I imagine combining these two would make graphical life simple.
Beyond belief of amazement though is a debug for the LSystem Graphics and layout. You can toggle the LSystem controls on/off, or you can get colored grids to show you what LSys defines are being used!
So, before I waste a week figuring out what others may already know and have a thread for (which I didn't find in searching just now), I wanted to ask what other screens are out there, and how best to utilize the debug screen. And of course let other semi-novice modders like me know about this tool if the hadn't already.
