Add +10% :culture: in all cities (flat +2:culture: alone is meaningless)
Muse (Trait building, NW)
grants Inspiration (special tech) which enables Flood Culture (converts 100% of :hammers:s into :culture:, instead of the regular 50% of Build Culture)
I just realized that it won't work this way. If a player starts his game later than the Ancient era he will get all techs of the earlier eras, even the non-researchable ones. I need to find a different trait building for Creative. Any ideas? I don't want anything that adds a flat or % +:culture: but something that the Trait.xml could not do otherwise.
 
I like your concept of trait buildings. They add some needed persona for the traits.
For the Cultural one... is there no way to grant the 100% hammers to culture any other way than tech?

DLL modding, which is faaar beyond me :rolleyes:
An other idea is for Muse give +1 or +2 :culture: to all specialists but I don't really like that.
Or make it a regular building that when built has a 10% chance of creating a Great Artist. I think I could tinker the python code to do that.

What I would really like to do is something flexible (like :hammers: to :culture:) so a Creative leader can flood out culture when he wants but not constantly.
 
So this is what I'm settled with:

Creative
Peaceful conquest

Keep the flat +2:culture: in all cities (it's useful for a young city)
Add +10% :culture: in all cities (it's useful for a mature city)

Muse (Trait building, NW)
+1:culture: for all specialists (so bigger cities grow faster and to make sure that it's useful for the AI)
+3:culture: for Artist to double it's :culture: output (base 4+1+3=8)
+9:culture: for Great Artist (it will be base 12+1+9=22)
So a Creative player can flood culture by assigning Artists to his cities. Great Artists will also help with a Cultural Victory.

is it possible to play Chronicles with rev 1079? I cannot make it work (errors had been mentioned here).

Just came to say I've been having the same issues with TECH_FIRE and RESEARCH as the person on the other page. I don't think anything was wrong with 1079 on my PC.
Looking forward for a fix. :)
 
GOOD NEWS!

I've got my PC working again so I can get back to modding. I hope I can get something done by the next week but I make no promise.
 
Okay it was a silly error. I must have missed something :lol:
Now the game should start with no errors.

Hotfix attached.

The mod starts without errors this time but now I am still getting the same error when starting a match. :sad:
 
It was the same error as the other person from previous page, except without TECH_FIRE complaining it looks like.

I also got a "ArtInfo: 'ERROR' was not found" after that.
 
Okay... Maybe this time.
I'm trying to fix the bug from my workplace so I cannot test it.

Please, try the attached patch and let me know whether it works or not.
