I have noticed that there is kind of a Pseudo-Political Party in the Demogame. In interpratation of the Demogame rules clearly stated that Political Parties are not allowed in this game. The two major pseudo-political parties I have observed (Note I did not have any political science classes, I am using what I have learned from 2 semesters worth of psych so please bear with me as I could not find a proper term for groups like Pro-life and Pro-choice in RL) are the Pro-Chat and the Non-Chat (Pro-Forum). This is just a survey poll and it will be a private poll. If you wish to disclose youre affiliation, please feel free to do so.

Vote options:
Pro-Chat
Pro-Forum
Independent/No Affiliation
Abstain

Poll is open indefenately (Or untill Demogame V is over)

Sorry CG. I am definitely an independant. I have attended a zillion T/Cs and believe that they are one of the better parts of the game. But I am not a chatter that hangs out in a chatroom all day. This is a forum-based game and anything that's important or that should be noted is posted in the forums, not in some chatroom private window. :D

I agreee with Cyc here, and I am not a person that agrees with Cyc all the time. So call me independent. I think I am pretty alone in the witchhunt for Embryons, which will be my core missions as a citizen.

Would being an abstain count as a political party? :)

I'm independent, sometimes I go to chats, most of the time I don't.

No need to apologise ;), this is just mearly a survey poll and I do agree with you that this is a forum based game.

Ill also go along with the Independent/Moderate/Centrist side.

If pro-chat means supporting ministerial candidates who make no effort to run, count me as the opposite! Ahahahaha! A-ahahah!

Here is me playing my role. Do I make a good Crimso? Oooh, pls dun ban me! :mischief:

I voted no affiliation as I don't have an affiliation. Parties aren't allowed, and thus I belong to no political group other than in real life.

A---Ahahahahahaha!

I abstained - I'm for both. I don't think this game should be all forum, but neither do I think that the chat should be a place where decisions are made. All discussions should take place in the forum, however, we can always use the chatroom for nomination debates (which I think would be fun - not mandatory though), informal discussion with a minister, etc. For informal things, it's a great tool, as it allows us to communicate quickly and get opinions fast, but for now, let's keep this a forum game open to all.
(But Yes, I am a 'regular' in the chatroom.)

This is an easy one to vote and hard to explain because the options don't include my true position.

I'm independent in the sense that nobody else's opinion affects mine, and I'm not a "straight ticket" supporter of either side.

However, I'm "leaning" pro-chat because I think that properly used input during the chat can have a lot of value, and because the social aspect of the chat is generally more positive than negative. I don't think there is any danger of the forum ever going away, while without support the chat could go away.
