Realpolitik of the Smoky Skies - The Reboot

I will be willing to do so.

I personally got bored when I realized that there was no way to get to power if you were not a socialist.

And the fact that you basically roleplayed as a 19th Century Hitler and alienated not only the entire player base but almost all of the voting population had nothing to do with this. :p

May I also propose that if any players in Coventry or Pulias City (Absoluti or Christos) wish to be active again they can replace the NPC that will otherwise represent their city?

Sounds fine to me. For my own benefit, however, because I'm a) an idiot and b) have finals racing towards me at high speed, can everyone still in the game do me a favor and post that they are? It'll make sure I don't cut anyone I shouldn't out of the spreadsheet o' opinions.

I'm finding baby-related things are leeching more and more of my time already (not due for another four months yet!), but I'm still here in theory. :)

I suspect that in addition to taking lots of my time, Physics studies are slowly driving me insane (whether from frustration or enlightenment, I cannot tell), but I'm still interested! Just with nowhere near as much time to spend on it as I did previously.

Well, you already quoted me in the who's in? post but yeah, I'm in. :) (and yay for christmas smileys!)

I will be travelling and largely unavailable from 19 December to 3 January.

Which means I really need to get my act together and put out a Delphi update in the next few days.

If there's still time I'll join back in.

Right, so, with who seems to still be active, we can assemble a complete legislature:

Pulias City

*Magnive
*Gurra09
*Christos [if he's still interested in playing; if not, we'll generate an NPC]

Coventry

*Et_Absoluti
*Wyverncraft

Haven of Peace

*Melda
*Heerlo

Based on various schedules (both my own and from what others have posted in the thread), I think we'll have time to get one more update pushed through before the end of the year, so that's grand. Let's get this back up-and-running!

I am still interested.

Since this still hasn't gone much further I hope I don't disrupt too much by saying I won't have the time anymore. Something came up and I also have a new job so my time is precious. Melda and Wyverncraft: this sadly goes for Delphi aswell. Very sorry!

Yeah, I'm finding between work and baby arrival prep that my time is fast becoming scarce, too.

I think I might have to bow out. Unless this picks up after everyone shakes off the holidays hibernation the end might be nigh.

I'm guessing this thread died out.

If anyone revisits it and is interested my son was born two weeks ago and we're all doing very well. :)

And cpm: my apologies for not replying to you on Steam. I had your message up and was ready to reply but then my computer restarted and I forgot about it. :/

I'd be up for giving this CPR if I we can get enough players back, but I think things are dying maybe too much around here for that to work (we're all waiting for Civ VI, I guess...nudge, nudge, Firaxis?)

Excellent news, and no worries. I'd actually been assuming that the question was too random and weird and you'd chosen to view me as completely insane (instead of just mostly insane) and ignore it :p

This was fun while it lasted, but I'm just not sure I could get myself started in this again.

And congrats Melda! Glad you're doing well.

I think we can safely call this over, then. Hope all is well with everyone else, and perhaps we can all meet up again for some sort of IAAR come Civ 6!
