Civ 5 Design Challenge II - Mechanics

If anyone is still looking for ideas, perhaps you could fill the blank with "shares a religion" or "follows your religion". You could then make a design for either a larger civ that took tributes from smaller states which followed it's religion, or you could design a smaller civ that took advantage of the fact that it shared a religion with a larger empire to leverage support/funding/prosperity.
 
I do believe it is allowed to vote for the challenge creator's design, as it has happened in the past. Though I'll reread all the designs and decide who I'm voting for later today.
 
After reading through the designs I think I've decided on Kul's Salakanegara. I think my second favorite was Meiji Japan.
 
The theme maker can't submit a design.... Its against the rules IIRC...

(And I can't recall it ever happening)
 
I always assumed that was a rule, since it pretty much never happened (since I joined the forums) and to give others the chance to submit designs if there would ever be a super exceptional amazing perfect balancing civ designer (which we don't have yet, though each and everyone of us does create some cool/great/whatever design(s) occasionally! :D)
 
I checked the rules for both this challenge and the original and didn't see any rule against it. Besides, they're working with the same challenge as everybody else- at worst, they pick a challenge that they already have a design in mind for, which obviously wasn't the case this time.
 
You know, the problem is that the same person may end up wining again and again.

(If he made the challenge, he probably has an idea that fits it, making it much less of a challenge for him then for anyone else)

I'd remove my entry in my earlier vote. I am still entering, but just take it as a honorary entry or something that isnt votable

Civ VI happened, so logically,all activities and attention are shifted there for now.
Maybe the next challenge can be a tie in? Work some new mechanics in Civ VI into Civ V
But hey, thatsfor the winner to decide
 
No? AFAIK people kept on playing Civ IV long after Civ V came out, so I think that it will be the same case with Civ VI's release...

(Plus, according to that, we should've turned our attention to beyond earth quite some time ago...)

Doing some advanced mathematical calculations makes me draw the conclusion that it's currently a tie between Senshi and Natan :D
