Anyone heard if theres going to be a Civ6 Earth map?

Also due to the unstacked city nature of civ6 will Civs like Greece, Rome, Japan and England be unplayable on a earth map due to a lack of Land tiles for Placing districts?

They already have changed the archipelago map script to have larger islands as we saw in the religion live stream where they showed Norway., I assume this time around we will get decent sized Britain/Italy/Japan.

The World map would have to be much bigger than the Civ5 Earth maps otherwise there just wouldnt be enough land in Uk/Japan/Italian and Greek Penicular's to place your districts

Map that mimics planet Earth = Most Likely

Map that mimics planet earth and places each Civ close to their true location = Could be, as an advanced option.

Map that mimics planet earth and places each Civ close to their true location, and modifies landmasses to ensure the game is as balanced as possible = Incredibly unlikely.

I'm thinking we're more likely to get a TSL Europe map, if not "out of the box," than with the Poland DLC. Poland pretty much fills in the only major gap in a Europe map. It's almost like they picked the European civs to be evenly spaced out from each other:

England (Britain), France, Spain (Iberia), Rome (Italy), Greece (Balkans & Aegean), Germany (W. Central), Norway (Scandinavia), Russia, Scythia (Ukraine), Poland (E. Central)

Edit: Also the city state selection helps to fill in some of the smaller gaps: Lisbon, Amsterdam & Brussels, Geneva, Stockholm, Vilnius, Preslav, Hattusa & Carthage (A Europe map would cartographically require some of Anatolia and North Africa.)

I'll bet one of the unknown city states is Dublin.

The maps are going to be roughly 30% bigger if I recall correctly, the devs clearly stated that the maps were going to be bigger in order to better implement the district system.

I think the district system will be pretty exciting for making cities in more "zoomed-in" scenarios; I'm imagining, say a tri-state area scenario with a City Centre and Commercial Hub comprising Manhattan, an Industrial Zone and Entertainment District comprising Brooklyn, and some Neighbourhoods filling in the other boroughs. Could add a lot of flavour to Earth maps.

I hope we get a Stalingrad/ eastern front scenario.
