The panel is titled "Bringing Your Civ World to Life" so that makes sense. Should be a really interesting talk. The graphics in this game look beautiful and incredibly detailed.

I'll go with a no, because no one ever includes an AEST, so you can all go get stuffed.

Yeah, it's Melbourne. Daylight savings is from the first Sunday of October, to the first Sunday of April. So whilst yes, 11am AEST is 9pm EDT, it is not 11am AEDT. If you turned up at 9pm EDT, you'd find the presentation to be finished.
