Civ 7 Religon YouTube Short

But I get @Evolena is referring to traditions. And indeed I was wrong expecting these would be differentiated on some way from "regular" social policies (as far as I have checked, they are not). Nevertheless, I don't see the effects provided carrying over to the next age, so I will stay thinking these tree items, while social civics, are not managed as carryover traditions.
Yes, that's what I was referring to :)
We know that religion doesn't transfer completely in Modern Age, so that's not entirely a surprise.

Maybe there’s a quick move mode not just for units, but also fog of war tiles…
Civ 5 at the very least had simple FoW setting

Bit disappointed to see that founder beliefs are geared towards spreading your religion even more than before, apparently only ever providing benefits to you when other civs' cities have your religion, not your own.

The generic benefits are tucked into the civics instead of in specific beliefs

You get benefits for your own religion from social policies.

And this way, if you don’t have those policies, you don’t lose anything when another religion comes in to one of your settlements (meaning that it is more easy to move through other civs)

I find the returned emphasis on 'missionaries' and 'spreading your religion' still pretty reductive. I assume part of the reason they explicitly have unique versions of Shawnee and Hawaii missionaries is to try and blunt that a little bit - as cultures that did not have missionary-based religions afaik.
I'm not arguing in favor of missionaries because it's an element of the gameplay I dislike, but Tenskwatawa's religion did indeed have missionaries who doubled as envoys for Tecumseh's confederacy.

I'm also not keen on the unexplored regions being those dark hex tiles that flip over when explored. It just looks needlessly elaborate to me, but I don't expect that to change. It looks like someone had a very specific vision for those.
I kind of like them, though I dislike the rest of the UI except the gorgeous "next turn" button.

Ah yeah that's nice at least, I'd still prefer getting some minor passive benefit from keeping my own religion strong in my own cities without needing to use policies but glad it's still possible.

The benefit you get is denying benefits to anyone else
