Civilization Selection Poll

UN REPS: Please post this thread in your forums (if no UN rep for your team yet - decide on one. In the meantime, anyone can copy this there). The following are the options for deciding on how we choose the teams' civs:

NOTE ... Since we have no UN Rep yet, I took the liberty

1. MTDG I style (list 5 preferred civs in order)
2. Random
3. Rik Meleet chooses
4. Other teams decide your civ for you
5. Other (please describe; please don't use this and make something exotic, as five teams with 5 weird ways of determining civs does not get us anywhere).


Let's try to get this done ASAP guys.

I chose option 1 because I think I'd prefer to have a bit of control as to who we are.

Also not sure why Option 3 is there as Rik doesn't want to do it

I see the map in which we will ' vitually exist' is the bigger issue.

I'm pretty flexible. I'm not good enough to have a great grasp of the differences between all the traits, and I'm not familiar enough with all the UU's to know which ones are super and which aren't.

I'm fine with 1, 3, and 4.

I'll go either option #1 or all random. Either way. Other people choosing your civ seems like a lot of work and a lot of thought for no good purpose..

How long should we wait until we place an official vote in the UN ???

and wrt that ... should we also pick an interim UN Rep?

Let's use this thread to vote someone in ... I don't mind doing it, but would prefer to hear from others who are interested.

Fe, AFAIAC you can be UN rep ad interim.

Considering that the majority of our team has voted, and the remaining team members cannot change the outcome, I suggest we wait one more day (24 hrs) from the timestamp of this vote, and then vote in the UN.
