We talked about releasing a beta. I think bugs will be inevitable because guaranteeing no typos in literally 10s of thousands of lines of text is pretty hard to do. And there will probably be some unforeseen balance issues or maybe some graphic anomalies.

Because of this, it'll like be released as 4.0, v.1 and we'll go from there. If the arising issues are small, we'll simply patch it once we can gather the info. If the issues are major, we can release 1.1 or 2.0 as required.

I intend on launching a major project: Combining Civgold with VD....is that ok with you guys?

The idea is to give the civs units from VD civilizations similiar to the existing civilizations, so for example, the Toltecs would get Mayan units, Kanem Bornu would get Mali etc.

If you would like to help me, I'd appreciate it if you could make a list of the civs and what units from VD they'd most be like for example: Sweden=Vikings for example.

I'd be happy to help. Does VD use only Firaxis civs? If so, I could try and get that list to you very soon. I know there are some proprietary ones, like Cuba and Hungary.

Yes Avain made a Hungary optional Hungary addon for his mod and Bernie made another Cuba one as well. But other than that VD only uses Firaxis civs. If you help me I'd greatly appreciate it.

Yes. Hungary is in as the Magyar, and have been since 1.0, I believe. Cuba will be in 4.0.

As I type this, I'm at home making LH buttons and editing some graphics.

Amra is currently working on 2-3 leaderheads that I really want to steal. It's better for us to wait a day or two and get these than it is to patch the mod a week from now.

You know what always hurts? "Scope creep". We're just about set to go, then along comes an awesome Kleopatra LH and we think, damn, we should add that!

He needed a little tweaking but he's done now. I'm not sure if Wyz will be including him or not since they already had a Hiram. I leave that decision up to him. He knows he's always welcome to use what he needs and I'm not offended if he doesn't.

I have *one* LH to clean up and that's it - all the buttons, texts, units, flags, etc. are all done.

It'll be uploaded to a repository in a little bit, and then Fierabras will create an installer.
