How's the new version coming along?
I'm betting it is imminent. I did 5 leaderheads for Wyz this last week while he was working on some other stuff for the update. I think those were the last of the leaderheads and know he has been working hard the last couple days to polish up all the little things.Head Serf said:

Good news and bad news....but mostly good.
There is a beta done and ready, and it's been shared with a few folks for review. Now it's just a matter of addressing gaps and squashing bugs. There are a couple of things left to put together, but nothing too major.
As with everyone on the team, "Real Life" comes calling and one needs to respond.
The release will be overnight on Sunday, ready for Monday morning. I apologize for the frequent delays, but I think people will be happy with this release. We've corrected a few older errors, added real alpha channel flags to all civs, corrected the "color overlapping" on maps, added some unit graphics...all this in addition to the 23 new civs.
Hang tight for two more days.

It's 2:30 in the morning, and I have an early day tomorrow. But 2.0 is finally finished, thanks to the help of the team, of course, and special big thanks to Amra who hlped me pull some things together at the 11th hour.

I would have expected it to be available by now but 3ddownloads still has it in "pending" satus. I emailed them and asked about getting a "trusted user" account so that further updates/uploads can be made available immediately.
I'll keep checking this evening and will post the link ASAP.

There are other services that all immediate linking, of course. But a lot of them are slow, don't let you access the file after you've loaded it, and spam the hell out of you.
This is a minor inconvenience, and if I would have been more organized I could have mailed it in Sunday morning, and announced it this morning with a link ready.

!I've already noticed one error - Kamehameha's First Contact quote isn't showing. Not sure is all 3.0 civs are like this, but the XML looks okay...will double check.

I am having a problem downloading this mod . For some reason when I click download now all my computer does is beep at and the screen flashes back to the download pages on file gone I am assuming that my firewall is stoping it but it never has before. how do I set up my firewall to let me download this
