CIV Gold!

It may have been said again and again, but I have to say it myself: WOW. Marvellous work, incredible job by all of you guys!

Now let us only hope Civ Gold will soon be Warlords compatible!!!

It will definitely be Warlords compatible, but it'll be a few days yet. I want to fix a couple of bugs with the current release, then convert for Warlords.
 
Update on Warlords conversion:

This is going to take a good long while. The XML changes aren't too bad, but the Unit and Building ones seem to be the most extensive, and with 43 units and 43 to-be-developed buildings, it'll require some time.
 
I believe you; first off, doing the background check for every single one of the civilization (aka. finding unique buildings PLUS screening them).

I ain't pressing in any matter, I'm just glad already you're simply thinkin' about it!

Hi, I've just downloaded your mod, but I have a problem when I load Civ GOLD mod :|

After the game restarts, the menu choices (like Single Player, Multiplayer...) are invisible, I can't read them.

I've updated Civ to 1.61.

Any help is really appreciated :)

Sorry Ket. I'll post an updated schedule later today to talk about how far we are from completion.

The biggest issue is time for team members, but we're still closer than farther, re: a Warlords release.

First up, though, is CIV Gold 3 - the final vanilla release (and that is almost done).
 
Is there anything I can do to assist?

3.0 is a small update - mostly to correct a few bugs and problem spots with 2.0, and to add a few new civs to close things off.

I am still awaiting some input from some team members, but it looks as those the list will be:

- Maori
- Byzantines
- Scythia
- Maghreb
- Indonesia
- Uppajut (Inuit)

It's possible that another 2-3 *may* be added, but they may be deferred to Warlords instead.

Basically the "Eastern Roman Empire". Still, given the history and the associated figures, it seems defensible as an empire in its own right. Plus, great scenario possibilities.
 
I'm truly scared to see what the filesize of my mod will be after I intergrate Civ Gold Warlords.....

Just adding Canada leaving out hockey night (although thats fricking great)
I do like the idea of HNIC theme being played when Canada declares war.
 
The Byzantine Empire is a great choice; it’s the only empire where you can legitimately have a husband/wife combo for leaders.:king:

On a serious note, the Byzantine Empire did last a good 900 to a 1000 years after the collapse of the Western Roman Empire. Depending on who you ask…
